Gonna have to disagree on the Calder/Wolf take. Yeah if decided today, he might win based on his numbers, but there's a lot of season left. Goalies, especially young goalies, are generally streaky. Kudos to him for mostly keeping it up at 15 games played, but I think it's more likely that MM sustains his current pace, given that he's been quite consistent as a scoring forward and creating high quality chances even when he comes away pointless. Also of note, Wolf has also been inconsistent lately. Shutout most recently, but posted a .786, .879., and .867 just before that. Another point which may or may not hold any weight from a voting perspective is that it's also not his 1st season in the NHL despite still qualifying as a rookie (finished last season with a .893 with 17 GP), whereas MM is brand new to the league and has already seemingly broken through. Again, really impressive season so far for Wolf, but I just don't trust goalies because there are so few examples especially recently where hot goalies stay hot all year.

L take for Calder Bedard isn’t going to be in the playoffs for the next 3 years. but Faber and the Wild easily make it but he doesn’t win the Calder. Last time a goalie won it was 14 years ago
