For all those who are trashing Rachel's parents - you do realize you're trashing them for being honest?? Rachel foolishly used a public platform to lie about her upbringing. By saying she: . ♦ Grew up poor in South Africa living in a teepee ♦ Hunted with bows & arrows for food ♦ Was abused by her stepfather ♦ Was abused by her mother because she was Black ♦ Her Black father was "forced to flee the Deep South after assaulting a White police officer" ♦ Her "father served in the Marines for 24yrs & 3 attempts were made on his life by White subordinates" ♦ "White supremacy groups in North Idaho burglarized every home they ever lived in". ♦ And countless other lies . . . It was only natural the press would search for the parents. Who are these people that lived this alternative lifestyle, were continually targeted by racial hate crimes, & who had abused poor Rachel! Rachel disowned every friend & family member she knew wouldn't lie for her but she got so comfortable lying she forgot her family had the integrity to tell the truth! Anyone who is condemning the parents for saying "Yes we are her biological parents" also needs to condemn Albert Wilkerson for saying "No, I'm not her father"! ETA: Rachel was married in 2000 but her husband divorced her 4yrs later claiming she was a pathological liar & was brainwashing / poisoning their son against him. Surprised??!!

You wouldn’t ask a person who’s gone trough the trouble of changing their gender identity to tell everyone they meet their what gender they were born as, so she shouldn’t have to either. Normal Norma - the problem here is that she profits from her lie, by being the head the the NAACP, leading black studies classes, selling African themed art, all while totally misleading people. you should be up front if you're going to do that. a male to female transgender person probably wouldn't preside over womens groups or teach womens study classes without disclosing the fact that the aren't in fact a biological woman. @timetravelingjukebox3 жыл бұрын
I hope you're joking right now...it's a problem because she has lied and impersonated and tried to make money and a success out of a fake life! Can you imagine someone impersonating you and claiming to know and have gone through the struggles of being who you are without your choice everyday? There's nothing wrong with admiring Black culture or wanting be a part of it, but there is a line where people shouldn't completely claim that culture as their own! She is privileged and doesn't have to go through the real struggle of being a Black women in the US or in the world , while claiming the struggle and speaking over real Black women's voices who deserve to be heard! Society has tried to shut down our voice for too long and this is another example of it
@themoreyouknowfools49743 жыл бұрын
@@timetravelingjukebox no, no, I know why it's a problem. Ur on point. But from everything I see, they're not talking about how she faked her identity and used race as a way to be successful. She should be held accountable for that. But they are making fun of her by saying she's delusional and really want a to be black. If she thinks she's black,(which I don't think she is) then why are people being hostile to her for thinking she's black and not the fact that she faked her identity? Why isn't the same energy being held towards transgenders? To make things clear, I have no problems with transgenders. I just find the case her very similar.
