Rachel, you have an extraordinary capacity for expressing your thoughts and feelings in a tempered yet truthful way, raw in your grief as you are. You are still giving it all. Thank you for sharing the horrifying physical conditions in which the beautiful six were found, your son Hersh being one of them. We all need to 'see' those conditions.

Dear dear sister Rachel. I love to repeatidly watch and listen to you from New Jersey USA. Thank you again for speaking to us all. I think you are quite a sensitive, and perceptive Jewish woman. You apparently are quite honest. We all need to hear and feel your honesty and perceptions. I feel I am mostly, however in my honesty not totally In agreement about everything you have said and apparently feel. Yet as human beings we have to respect and agree to disagree. Hopefully I will be able to meet with you and your special being.from Leah Kalichman in Lakewood, New Jersey, USA.

Dear Rachel, I believe you have shown Hashem’s love and thus represented the teachings of the Torah. You have expressed love for all people. You have not expressed hatred and bitterness as is our human nature, and feelings that we all can have. If you did have those feelings, I did not see them! I am a Christian in Pennsylvania, and I have followed your story. I have cried and prayed and joined a (Messianic Jewish) Torah club since the war started. You are not only telling the world about the truth of the situation. You are also sharing your faith and helping the world to see the nature of The loving God. I pray that you will feel more happiness and peace. Or whatever Hashem wants for you to feel as only He knows your needs and what is best. We can not understand everything but I hope you know that many Christians believe in and try to get closer to the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob and believe that Jews are God’s chosen people whose covenant is not broken! Thank you for the work you continue. I am writing this to encourage you and also to apologize for any Christians who have expressed antisemitism or apathy, or even pointed out any mistakes that a Jewish person has made. We are instructed to focus on what is good and not to tear each other down, and to stand with the nation of Israel. I think a Christian who does not stand with Israel may be insincere or ignorant and should not represent all disciples of Jeshua, who upheld the Torah and said He did not come to abolish the law. ❤ I ( respectfully) ask and hope that we can both be a part of the same ( spiritual) family! Hashem is there for all nations but first Israel.

I don’t know how the mourning of. Shiva came into Judaism. So many links suggest migration of people to Middle East from ancient Indian/ African subcontinent In our ancient Tamil scriptures, ( 3 BC before). Our saints or yogis were so advanced and knew the yogic art of merging with divine consciousness (Shiva - formless one pure consciousness). They Say. our lives are already predetermined how we live and die. And we must remember the purpose of human birth is to realize God consciousness So have no attachment to this body/ form , view all beings as one. Hersh was born w certain karmic imprints. A soul never dies and his soul is in better place. My prayers for this grieving mother who lost her precious boy. To have peace and strength and to lead a spiritual life merging with that divine consciousness 🙏

@@816Lynnie I wish it wasn't. Her son is her own possession it is just not right. He had no girlfriend or even that she cares that he was able to live his own life. She is a strong peacenik that even her son being murdered hasn't given her 2nd thoughts. If I am wrong I would love. She doesn't care about justice for her son just that her little possession is gone and doesn't her son is a seperate human being that was murdered with his whole life ahead of him including at some point being independent of her mother hopefully.
