@@Dreez76 Totally agree. Horrible how he treated his exfiancee. And Rachel has a child from another man apparently she didn't get asked to marry. He goes to gay bars. Kisses men on the lips. Asked if the last Bond movie could have a gay scene...of course with him. Absolutely nothing wrong with being gay but come on Daniel...time to get out of the closet. No wonder they want "privacy".

4:28 - I can't help myself but to love her very unique and unusual laughter! She's already famous for that laughter, and people seem to like it and are right about that. Because that odd laughter makes her seem so natural! I mean others try to hide this, but she does not. And it is a laughter that comes straight out of her heart, very unlike Jimmy Fallon's fake laughter.

I've always wondered about how difficult it must be to have a love scene. With a crowd of people behind the camera, the lighting director asking the actors to freeze in place for better lighting, the film director asking them to freeze for a better camera angle and the actors still have to continue acting romantic despite all of this and more. It must take some serious concentration to maintain the emotional flow of the scene.
@lancewedor5306
@lancewedor5306 6 жыл бұрын
jaspr1999 - No different than creating a love scene in a stage show, night after night, in front of other cast members, the crew, and that necessary, hopefully fully attentive audience! It might be difficult for YOU to perform a love scene, but the job of a professional is to act, and the best do it very well. Like an orchestral conductor, as the group play, she might stop them with her baton, direct them back to a specific point and have them pick it up from there. A good cast can do that with a script, too, even with improv. Training for theater/film work helps the actor to create the magic of the soul expressed artistically. The actor is always in control of the persona. If a fire were to break out, or other catastrophe, you can be sure all the actors will react as themselves! You seem young enough to enjoy hard work, so please consider finding a local theater group or film school. A curious, interested, helpful volunteer is a god-send to any group following an artistic vision. You can witness the theater Muses dancing in joy at the beauty of performance. Promise!

Lance Wedor, Thank you for saying I'm young!!! I'm long since retired so it's been a while since I've heard that. The closest I get to acting is playing Santa every year at the hospitals in my area. I do know quite a few actors that star in local productions but no screen actors. I even make or print a few props for them once in a while. I love your enthusiasm for the art and wish more people shared it.

First of all, yuo don't focus on the set, but on the scene on the emotional feeling place in the moment, on what is flowing from you, in that nothing else matter, is lack of focus and not being able to identify the intention the "what is now my priority what I want to extract feel from me in the moment?" If you focus really on that, is easy, but if you worry about the external your focus is in the wrong place, and you don't flow with the play, of course is concentration but most important put the intention on concentrate yourself in feeling the emotion, and helps a lot imagination, really. @@Winskl9010 Daniel Craig looks old enough to be Rachel's dad. That doesn't mean he's aged horribly, it means Rachel's aged extraordinarily well. Unless you're actively looking for signs of ageing, which occasionally show around her eyes if you're really nitpicking (and I've seen younger people with wrinkles around their eyes so it hardly counts), you wouldn't think she's a day over 35.

It erks me when people become unnerved or shocked when women in their 40's become pregnant. I'm 29 and proud of Rachel. Women were having children at a later age for decades. Don't be a follower of society's assumptions, judgments or biases. If the mother is healthy and agile then God bless.
@tomnorton4277
@tomnorton4277 3 жыл бұрын
It kind of annoys me too. My mother had me in her twenties and she's somewhat disapproving of women having children later in life. Her reasoning is that the child may be raised by a woman who could technically be old enough to be their grandparent. Does that really matter? I guess you could make the argument that the parent may not be in the child's life for as long as they could be since death looms over us all, but that could happen just as much with a younger parent as with an older one. I recently learned that Laura Linney had her first child when she was 49. Good for her. She had plenty of time to live a life without children and now she's got another life to live as a mother. I actually kind of like finding women who have children later in life. Halle Berry and Helen Hunt didn't have any until they reached their early forties and there's something reassuring about knowing that they could wait for a couple of decades instead of rushing into motherhood before they or their partners were ready.

The marriage comment cracks me up. Rachel is always very coy when reporters ask her sexist questions. If you go back and watch her on Letterman in 2005/6 when she was promoting The Constant Gardener and The Fountain he constantly mislabeled Darren Aronofsky as her husband when they were only engaged, kept asking when or if they would marry and just kept bringing the conversation back to her relationship and baby. When she had just won an Academy Award no less. Obviously, a child is more significant than an award but in the context of promoting her career and work it was so underhanded.
@tomnorton4277
@tomnorton4277 3 жыл бұрын
I like Rachel's way of handling that sort of thing. She never screams about sexism or how unfair the world is or any of the virtue signalling and victimhood mentality that you often see in Hollywood these days. She always presents herself with a sense of elegance and maturity. There are a handful of younger actresses who have that sense of decorum but they're rare.

I'm so happy that Sebastian Leilo is finally getting the recognition he deserves and doing it by this amazing kind of movies about "love is love" no matter your sexual orientation or your religion. In chile it's been a huge topic his lattest movie "a fantastic woman" because of the people that discriminate homosexual or trans, this are specially politicians and people from the right-wing party, but it has open some of them up to discuss this topic in a peacefull way because of Sebastian success.

Nice, I lived in Golders Green from 2000-2003. Very Orthodox neighbourhood alright. They must have hated us, loud Aussie, Kiwi and South African party house.

Fuck em, I lived near Stamford Hill, same thing, I have no interest in supporting oppressive backward religions. But I do have an interest in supporting party houses.

I lived in goldersgreen from 1999-2006. We had students for neighbours. I think some were australian and they always had mad parties. Have I met my childhood neighbour?

Possibly, I lived on St Georges Road, but there was a 'sister' party house on Woodstock Road. Equally as noisy.
