If I’m being honest, I think all this hatred towards her has become overly exaggerated as time passes, I know that her attitude in that in interview was very immature and insufferable and that she is wrong about so many things about Snow White, but if there’s someone to blame in here is Disney, not Rachel, since all this drama started people has been making and saying things about her that have not been proven or that they’re just lies just to get attention and make her worse than she is, when people said that because of her the prequel of the Hunger Games would be a total failure, but when the movie released it was a success at the end, it grossed around 337.4 million dollars against a budget of 100 million dollars, and last but not least, it seems like that they’re not giving her a chance to redeem herself from her errors, people are already condemning her just because of what she said, when they are other actors who did or said worse things.

genuinely tried to understand the justifications for the hate against her, but found them contrived and strange. This seems to be the case of groupthink and, to use the term here even though it’s such a buzzword, gaslighting. I’ve seen claims calling her a narcissist, ungrateful brat and the sources are clipped interviews. But I saw the same “incriminating” interview and at the end she said how thankful she was for the opportunity. A lot of anti-woke commentators have the most views on the drama, and it seems motivated by appearance more than the fact they’re heartbroken Snow White super fans. I doubt the 35 yo rage-bait guy is here to champion Snow White lol. Now, I’m not saying she’s this super cool or charismatic person that we should automatically love. People can dislike her clumsy way of speaking or naive view on some topics, but…the vitriol? I don’t care if I’m called weird, but I will never care enough to announce that I hate some public figure, especially knowing the trend of the media spinning gossip and scapegoating young actors, particularly girls. If the drama is shallow, like in this case, I believe there’s NO justification of a hate train and zapping someone’s mental health or feelings of safety. Anyway, hbd to her, it’s really lame that happened and will continue to happen to other young people entering that business.

She has NEVER said she hates Snow White She has NEVER said she hates the movie from 1937, she just said that it was outdated and that she was scared of it as a child (what is wrong with that?🤣). And that thing she said about the Prince being a stalker is not bad at all. I mean she doesnt even get to know the Prince in the movie🤣 There are lots of pictures of her wearing clothes with Snow White and the dwarfs on them. She did it to herself. Rachel spews hate. Apparently, according to her high school classmates, she has been a hater for most of her 22 years. Rachel has yet to make a blockbuster movie and most have failed to recoup their costs. Rachel is a beautiful woman. At least on the outside. God seems to have given her quite a lot. People enjoy the opportunity to be mad and witness schadenfreude more than whatever perceived offence they experienced by her little social faux pas’. At worst…she can be tone death or naive, but acting like she committed actual crimes vs her just acting her age and growing up is crazy. Let’s be real: who would be grateful being the poster girl for a public dress down? Even before any drama, girls are picked apart in the media and it’s not a slide down a rainbow into the money pot. You think every famous woman in history was clicking their heels? It’s always a humiliation ritual and exaggerated hate foisted onto them. She says she’s grateful. She’s young. She’s talented. It’s a take her or leave her choice. The end. Once upon a time when someone was undeniably talented or had the it factor, it was the public that wanted to show gratitude for the art and entertainment given by the artist. Now it’s a ‘smile more! Aren’t you grateful we’re paying attention!?’ So weird and transactional. Like…her making art and doing projects IS her love language? She’s creating for the world to enjoy. She’s privileged now with newfound fame, we get it. However, It’s not pleasant nor does it seem right to request self deprecation or guilt from those that get lucky. That behaviour is conflated with being humble these days. You can criticize corporate behemoths that don’t give a sh about you and want improvements meanwhile knowing it’s your bread and butter. That’s how changes are made. Not directing this all at you, per say. But some of your sentiments I just wanted to reflect on.

I didn’t swing a ball in your court saying you’re not in a calm state of mind with your take. That you automatically care too much if you wanted to make a comment saying: ‘she reaps what she sows’ like…hello…? Lol If that’s not making a personal stance against someone then what is? You can pick from the barrel: Britney Spears, Marilyn Monroe, Amy Winehouse, fka twigs, sinead O’Connor, the Dixie chicks, Janet Jackson, kat graham, Fiona apple, Mo’nique, Meg The Stallion, Brooke shields, Pamela Anderson, all picked apart by the public and the public felt vindicated in doing so because ‘they’re successful, they should be grateful and I will be the referee in whatever case I believe they aren’t grovelling enough.’ There’s honestly way more women that call out the industry or just aren’t sycophantic towards it, but I’d be here all day listing them. It was worse tenfold back in old Hollywood, as well. It’s beyond this one girl, and her contrived drama actually does have a larger meaning. It’s a reflection on us. How conditional we are and how quickly we will switch up and use human’s for entertaining gossip. It obvious gives people a kick, if you’re willing to double down. You didn’t even bother to give me your perspective, just insult me so…✌️😚 Public figures or those working in entertainment making critiques on the business structure or narratives written and how they are marketed are important things to speak on. Not everyone is gonna give a debutant answer or say they blindly like everything made under their overlord. You don’t need to respond or take any of this in, especially if you’re gonna be unkind.
