Charter flights could NEVER be afforded in the past. The WNBA has lost money EVERY year. And the Fever alone have brought in 50 million in Home Game ticket revenue. In the WNBA coffers right now. I doubt it. Why? First off, all of the women complaining that WNBA players don't make enough money aren't actually watching sports, men are. And I can only speak for myself, but I watch basketball to see the impossible. The super human. I saw an IG clip the other day of a 6'5" 10 YEAR OLD dunking. Simply put, the women will never have the physicality of the men, or even young boys. I don't get excited to watch tall women, at best, do nice layups. It's just boring to watch. Maybe more women will watch now, but I seriously, SERIOUSLY doubt it.

He also has the most haters. Enter: Caitlin Clark. By far the most popular women's basketball player on the planet, and also has the most haters. She will be #1 in all star fan votes too, just like LeBron. Most of the Caitlin haters are new to basketball so they don't understand how this works. They think all the players are supposed to get equal promotion time, they're all supposed to get a shoe, and everybody is supposed to be just as famous as Caitlin. They are in for a rude awakening.

We shouldn't go down the path of saying, "man, being a lady is hard". First off, it is! In many parts of the world, being born a woman is straight up deadly. But I will agree that women seem to be willfully blind on this topic. The WNBA makes zero dollars. In fact, it's actually worse than that, because they lose money. I'm all for them getting chartered flights and the salaries that they do. But they have to realize that if the NBA didn't exist, neither would they. So it's up to them to figure out a way to generate revenue, not complain about them not getting stuff they "deserve".

I'm nowhere near as tall as some of these women, and I have trouble fitting into a coach seat on a plane. I have said that Airline CEOs should be required by law to ride in coach on their own plans at least once or twice a year. Not that it will ever happen, but that is the only way the service to the average flyer will ever improve. Generally, planes these days are flying busses except I think busses have more legroom.
