As a stay at home mom to two boys. I loved hearing you talk about how much you want to be a mom. Since I was a little girl I have always told people I wanted to be a mom and so many people looked down on it because it “wasn’t enough” being a mom is the best thing I will ever do in life and hearing you speak about it the same way brought me to tears ❤

I relate to you so much! I always felt this wish of being a mother, I cannot wait to have children - biological or adopted. There are women that don‘t feel like this and that is completely normal and fine, but some people seem to think that we are all opressed and kids are the end of your life and every mother is unhappy, when many humans in fact do really wish to have a family and that shouldn‘t be looked down on either 🤷🏻♀️ so it‘s really refreshing to hear you as a modern woman represent the essence of feminism: to give women the choice ❤

I think it’s a thing that you can love a book und really enjoy your time with it but a 5 Star ist just more, the book should stick with you and be something you think about over and over again (the book is like life changing in a way) But this is maybe different for everyone like their rating system

I love Annabel's books! Def read her other 2! I loved Lessons in Chemistry. Not from the 60s, but as a woman born in the early 80s, I still faced a lot of resistance as a woman in the workforce. Lots of belittling, condescension, jumping thru hoops. I also loved the FMC bc she felt neurodivergent and I could relate to that and loved the representation. Great vlog! I 💯 mood read for better reading enjoyment!

🫶🏻 watching your vlogs- the cozy little reset of my day! I know you were looking for book recs a while back for books that have a flower/plant element to them. Have you heard of A Botanist’s Guide to Parties and Poison by Kate Khavari. It’s the first book in a mystery series set in 1923 London. The FMC is a botanist at a university who loves plants. The book follows her trying to clear the name of the professor she works under when he is accused of poisoning a fellow professor’s wife. She teams up with a fellow coworker who specializes in bacteria.
