The most frugal diet is one closest to the food plans of the late 1940's. Cooking whole foods from scratch and ensuring proper hydration and vitamin intake. It's cheap, filling and healthy

Now after trying many things I have found some amazing recipes and products. I am always excited to find out about new things to try.

I think this is a great video to get peoples wheels turning if they’ve never touched on the subject. If you’ve already been budgeting and are doing the ideas that they said, I don’t think it will be as helpful for you. We are a growing family of five on a tight budget. For families like us, I think it is going to be difficult as the years go on to provide well-rounded, healthy meals for our families.

FYI Papa Johns pizza has better ingredients than most pizza places. It’s made with whole flour (not enriched or bleached) and no high fructose corn syrup either. Just saying 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also I agree George in the topic of ice cream. Blue Bell 👎🏻 We are lactose intolerant and the ice creams you mentioned, the bars you mentioned, it can be expensive.

Rachel besides budgeting can u maybe do a video on how to get organized with your statements like what’s your book keeping look like . I got in a huge mess with my bank for not tracking every dollar they owe me 5k in checks that I thought cleared for not looking at where my money was going but since I didn’t keep receipts I can’t find it on my statements and they said if I don’t have the proof of those deposits they can’t pay me back mind you these where checks from the court of a debt I owed that they garnished over a year and half after I paid them off they paid me back but I deposited checks of $200 for 1 1/2 years didn’t look back I still was learning about u guys at that time I discover this mistake because they sent me a letter saying they made bank errors but I need proof from years ago of those transactions in order to get what they owe me and I can’t provide them with those receipts and they know that so wisdom key the importance of tracking every dollar I cried for two hours two days ago . Running from that bank tomorrow. So what’s a good way to. Be in order with bank statements receipts of deposits , bills etc if u r lead by Holy Ghost can u make a video. I learned such a lesson at age 42 if I would of been budgeting at that time if those checks this would of never happened to me and I’m running tomorrow pay day to get the app of tracking every dollar guys read this so nothing like this happens to u I don’t wish this on anyone 🙏🤦‍♀️❤️🙏

Same here. I like watching Rachel's videos, but it hurts seeing the "frugal" ideas. The last two years, my food budget has been an average of $36.50 a month. I live in the midwest of the USA. Due to multiple disabilities, most days I'm not very functional so live on a very low income. The last two years I've lived primarily on dried beans (cooked obviously) as they are one of the least expensive foods. Seeing suggestions for $5 dinners, that just isn't an option except on very rare occasions.
