Acerola is very popular in Puerto Rico! You mentioned in the frozen section that you had no idea what it was lol! It's kind of tart and is used in Puerto Rico to make juice and frozen treats (like popcicles). I love them! You can eat them raw but they are usually super tart; the juice has sugar added. 😊

Liked the video before watching 😁 Ooohh in another video you said you use to live in Hawaii. Where did you grocery shop the most? I usually go to the commissary or Costco but there’s not much or no good dairy free options like Trader Joe’s.

Hi! Thank you for liking it!!! I appreciate you :) I wasn’t dairy free back then, but Costco, Walmart, and Target is where we did our grocery shopping. Safeway was too expensive. I wish you guys had a Trader Joe’s!! Hard part is most of the places I listed will probably not be cheaper than the commissary for you. But they will probably have more dairy free options like milks, butter and cheeses! Especially Costco and Walmart!

I am shocked you were able to do that entire haul without someone telling you to stop recording. Trader Joes is really strict about that. I enjoyed your haul and thanks for all of the work you put into this haul. I have so many favorites, but I'll name a few; Kung Pao chicken-without the nuts, hot and sweet jalapeno peppers ( I can go through a jar, by myself, in a week), Villa Alena Moscato so good & the roasted corn w/everything but the elote seasoning-yummy!

I hadn’t been to a Trader Joe’s in my city here in Southern California since before the pandemic. What I learned yesterday was that I couldn’t pack my groceries with my Trader Joe’s recycle bag at the check out stand unless I bought one of their 10 cent paper bags. I was told by the checker I needed to go outside the store to an unsanitized dirty table and pack my groceries on there. Which I didn’t do. I just packed my groceries at the counter and left. I noticed that as germophobic Trader Joe’s is, none of their employees were wearing gloves. They were touching our groceries with their dirty hands.
