OMG! I remember that it was Search for a Star that had that first Text Voting thing on a talent search! Sarah G's was plainly judges' instinct. For Rachelle it was judges' and viewers' choices. Rachelle had the highest number of votes. It reached hundreds of thousands! Even my Mom voted for her! 😆 And what I loved about her contest was that Boy Abunda and Sharon Cuneta were some of the judges despite it being shown in GMA. Walang bias talaga. And a week after the Grand Finals nasa ASAP na sya which is in ABS-CBN.
