Great video! Another awesome trick is to pack/bring baby powder in your beach tote. Once you're packing up and before getting into the car/house sprinkle baby powder wherever you have sand at (feet, legs, hair, etc) then simply brush off with your towel. Complete life saver especially with kiddo's!

I noticed that your cutting board wobbles when you cut. My mommy taught me to put a small dish rag beneath it and it stops it from wiggling! Just a tip from one friendly female to another! 😘

Awww Rachel your son is just the cutest little boy ever!! Those are some amazing ideas especially the fitted sheet. Man I wish I would of known about that one a long time ago. I lived in North Carolina and Florida lots of sand. lol Probably the most favorite would be in Cancun Isla Mujeres. It has the most amazing blue, aqua turquoise water I have ever seen.

We live in Maine so our favorite beach is OOB or Old Orchard Beach in the area of Portland...we love it because it has so much to do for families and now that my husband and I are retired we bring the grandchildren to OOB. We have followed these hacks as well including bringing our two little dogs.They have a special bag just for them!

My favorite beach is Spring Mill in Michigan! Not overcrowded, biking trails, beautiful scenery! It will be my son's first trip to the beach this year! I can't wait! Your little boy is so cute! 😍🐚🌴☀️🏖

My family loves the beach! We live in Daytona Beach, and go as often as we can. Our favorite beach actually has a park with a playground, splash pad, and picnic tables/pavilions in Ormond Beach called Andy Romano Park. They have wood stair and decks when you leave with showers and hoses so it's great for rinsing everyone off before you get back into the car.

My favorite beach spot is in Tawas, MI near my friend's mom's RV. I love being close to the fridge for cool drinks, awning shade for naps, bathrooms, and just a few seconds walk to the sand & water! We cook dinner over a campfire too! Best of all, the 4th of July they set off firecrackers off a barge on Huron Lake!

I wish Alba made physical sunscreens. For such a "green" company I'm always amazed that they use avobenzone and other horrible chemical sunscreen ingredients in their sunscreen products. Ugh :(

Rachel Talbott yes ma'm! I've found that titanium dioxide or zinc oxide work much better. The Bare brand at Target has a spray version that works well (bit of a white cast and make sure you choose the "mineral" version not their "clear" version) and I also like the Pacifica mineral version (also Target). With being pregnant and your using it on a kiddo you really want to stay away from the chemical sunscreens (oxybenzone, avobenzone, etc) as they are endocrine disrupters and can be horrible for your reproductive system!

Interesting... Yeh, I always struggle with the white cast that physical sunscreens give, so they aren't usually my favorite.. I will look into your suggestions though. Thanks so much.. =)

Meaghan B They do...Get their green tube, Sensitive Fragrance-free SPF 30. It's harder to find in stores so try Vitacost. Badger is a great physical sunscreen too.

I love the ideas. But please, DO NOT bring glass to the beach. there is too high of a chance of it breaking and then the glass in the sand will injure someone.

Hi I loved this video! The "sheet" hack aswell as the aloe vera cubes were very helpful. Usually I also take a pair of sunglasses, a book to read and some waterproof plastic bags to put electronical devices in.

Great video as always. My husband and I aren't normally beach goers, but one we do enjoy when we get a chance to go is the beach in Long Beach, WA. It is the longest beach at 28 miles long. It's beautiful, can ride on a horse on the beach and there is a boardwalk nearby with great stores as well. Lighthouses are a short car ride away that you can go for hikes. And our fave time to go to the beach was when they have the Kite Festival. Highly recommend. Love the hacks and enjoyed watching.

My favorite beach was Topsail island, nc. So many memories made there with my family as i was growing up. We would stay at a campground right across the road from the beach. Havent been there in years now but i hear it has really built up with condos and hotels everywhere.

I live in Southern California, so the beach I like is Huntington Beach; plenty of spots to set up, park, eat, walk and all easy to get to. I planned to take my kids tomorrow for my daughters birthday so I will incorporate some of these ideas you mentioned. Have not tried Alba products yet, but looking forward to now.

I live in San Francisco and live two blocks from Ocean Beach and I love it because the SF zoo is down the block also. overall a cute neighborhood with a fun beach. I have yet to take my three year old because it hasnt been warm enough. Great video. i love seeing your kid/family related videos. 💕

I don't have a local beach, living in the middle of Europe with only mountains around. But I've been to Italy a few times and Ireland (not really for swimming though) and they were all stunning. As long as it includes the sea, I'm happy 😊😊
