Tonka bean is usually very creamy and is supposed to emulate vanilla. The soapiness is probably the rose clashing with the artificial red berry note. I got the same vibes and once the woodiness kicks in, the amber weighs it down and it becomes unpleasant as time goes by. I tried to get used to it but the people around me were complaining about it so it’s a no go..

I have a ring that I love, but that is a little bit too big. I have put a bit of blue tack Inside, which makes it just that bit smaller and stick to the skin. It’s also easy to remove. Finally, I have sensitive skin yet the blue tack has never irritated it.

I feel like the gua sha head would be nice for applying pain creams to sore backs that you can’t reach since it shouldn’t absorb your product. Not a massage exactly, but to apply oils and lotions etc could be a gem.

Tonka bean IS vanilla, sugar and a little almond. They use it as a vanilla substitute in fragrance. The "powdery" scent you dislike is probably the rose and musk. Might be some of the amber too. Or jasmine if its in there. But I'm an unscented or one note fragrance kind of person. :D

As a jewelry maker, i have to say, when you get a single rin you nay wear a size 8, but the larger the ring or the more rings in a stack you need to go up in size, i wear a 10 on my pointer, if i were to stack multiples or wear a cigar band style I'd need a 10.5-11

Also, on a wider ring it matters if the back is solid or hollow, at least if you have any meat on your fingers. The meat squishes into the hollow and you wear a smaller size.

I would be really interested in knowing what your experience dealing with the companies are like. Namely how they handle returns/exchanges, if you have done that with them previously of course. Customer service and shipping times are good to know too... being in Canada some places take forever to get here. I know you do talk about customer service and other things sometimes but I'd be curious to know more about it. There are some brands I just never order from only because it is such an awful experience returning/exchanging or if something is missing from my order, or it just takes them forever to deliver to Canada. So, I would love to know your thoughts.

I had that Olay shower scrubber when they first came out with it several years ago and it required batteries. You’re right, it does need a bend to more easily reach one’s back. I used to ask my husband to scrub my back with it, but the longer handle was nice for scrubbing my legs. The pumice stone head is for scrubbing your feet and getting the dead skin off your heels. I hope you’re keeping those earrings because they’re cute. So are the rings. You’ll have to show them off once you have the correct size.

I think you should keep the bow earrings. They suit you and I think they’ll grow on you. Also, how do those rings fit on your middle finger? Stackable rings look awesome on your type of hand with long slender fingers. I envy that. My fingers are so short that I can’t even wear one thick-banded ring! Why do I always feel validated when you review something I already bought? 😆❤ I have a shower brush similar to yours, but made by a different company. Heads are all the same, but speed is a little different. Mine has three settings: regular, faster, and reverse directional (spins to the right a couple of times, then to the left a couple of times). I get what you're saying about the pressure. You may feel more pressure if you use the loofah head and hold it underhand, like if you were hiding something behind your back. My handle is long enough to reach the middle of my shoulder blades. I think it feels terrific. Not full massage terrific, but definitely better than just a regular back brush. Oh, and the head with the pumice stone is for exfoliating your heels and feet, and the bumpy one is for applying lotion or body butter. Hope this helped! Highly recommend you give it a second try.

Have you ever seen/tried an African Net Sponge? I got ads for them on tiktok and when I saw how cheap they were I bought one and it has changed my shower game truly. It looks like an unraveled loofah but it’s a different material made with little knots in the netting so it’s perfect for exfoliating. I wax my legs and self tan and I get the smoothest results since I started using it. I also have terrible KP on my arms and they have never been smoother. Because it’s long and wide, you can easily get every part of your back and since it’s a bit rougher, it feels like a nice scratch. You can also wash them and they’ll last you years! I literally love mine so much! If you end up trying, I recommend finding an African-owned business and purchasing from there if you can!

I don’t care for Tonka Bean either. I feel like at first I may like the scent but just a couple minutes later I’m like “oh ew no what is that?! Where did that smell come from?” And it’s usually Tonka bean. Doesn’t smell good on me. But I LOVE the editing with the dog sniffing and his nose all up in the camera 😂 I like the bow earrings. The rings are very pretty. I’m a ring person and wear them stacked. I have thin fingers but they’re short.
