I've used True Lemon and True Lime for years in my recipes where I need citrus flavor but don't want extra liquid. Yes, actual lime and lemon juice tastes better, but fresh fruit goes bad quickly where I live, and this is a shelf-stable choice.

I like to keep the little packets on hand for when I go on a trip and don't like whatever water is available. I use one packet (supposed to be equal to 1 wedge) in my water bottle (20-24oz). This ratio is a bit strong, but it makes the water drinkable.

And I watched your water bottle test from several months ago, and Simple Modern is now my favorite.

I’m a speech therapist for toddlers and I recommend that cup frequently. You can also look up nosey cups. They don’t stop the flow but have a cutout so kids don’t have to tip their head far back. They’re also small so you just put a sip or two in them. Sippy cups are not good for kids and we don’t recommend them. Kids can learn from a straw at a very young age. So going from breast/bottle to straw and open cups is the best for kids. I’d love to hear how your niece does with it.

True Lime and True Lemon are great! You have to be careful with the jars if you live in a humid environment, though, because they will clump and harden like garlic powder does. I know It's more wasteful to do this, but I buy the packets. One tablespoon of water plus one packet is a good ratio for me. I find that sometimes fresh limes can be a little bitter or dry inside. True Lemon and Lime are going to give you the same results every time. Plus, it's nice when you can just throw them into a bean soup or sprinkle it on top of something where you don't necessarily want or need to add extra liquid. You could even use them in stuff like spice rubs. I find the flavor to be very real just like the name says and I have used each of these for years. If I'm making something like lemon curd, sure, I'm going to use real lemons, but in a salad or soup or something like that this product really is both convenient as well as being a time saver.
