Happy Canada Day and July 4th Weekend to my American friends!! ENTIRELY FORGOT to add in the footage i filmed testing the frozen s'mores so wanted to share my experience here. 1. Straight out of the freezer they were way too hard to eat (chocolate layer was like biting into a popsicle) 2. I think i forgot to mention the top layer of Graham cracker?? 3. They were DELICIOUS - I cut mine into squares and stuck back into the freezer. I leave it out for a bit on the counter to soften when i want one Which recipe was your favorite? ⬇️⬇️

if you flip a muffin pan upside down, you can use it as a temporary "taco" stand for this kind of thing. My mom makes cheesecake "tacos" with strawberry filling on top as a garnish. its the easiest way to get the shells to keep their shape while they harden. for smaller shells you can use the mini muffin pans, for larger shells you can use the jumbo muffin pans.

For the strawberries: I do these all the time and love them! I cut the strawberries up super small, dip them in mixed berry yogurt, and freeze that. Then I coat them in chocolate and refrigerate (not freeze) them. They aren’t as cold in the fridge and they are so tasty with the flavored yogurt.

Tip on using baking or parchment paper. After tearing it off the roll scrunch or screw the paper up like you would if you were throwing away bad poetry. Then smooth the paper out and it will stay put with no rolling up.❤

I buy my parchment at a restaurant supply store. It comes in big, full sheets, which I can cut down to fit my toaster oven tray or cookie sheets. I love parchment paper but I can't stand buying it in a roll. The curling up of the paper makes me unreasonably upset LOL. So just a tip to check out a local restaurant supply store... They will most likely have it. It will be enough to last you probably a lifetime but if you go in on it with someone you will have a bunch of sheets to use forever.

We lightly spray the cookie sheet with cooking spray(pam). And put the parchment paper on and then rub the parchment paper onto the cookie sheet, and it won't rool all the way up

I also can drink black espresso, no sweetener, also enjoy plain yogurt and plain Greek yogurt, adding some blueberries or strawberries on top and mix it in super yum 😊.

We dice the strawberries little before adding them to the yogurt. We also make them more flatten disk shaped for easy holding. Just drizzling the chocolate over the top is enough IMO.

A great alternative to the s’mores thing: layer of Graham crackers, straight instant vanilla pudding, another layer of Graham crackers, glaze with icing sugar and a little milk/water (you can go fancy taking a bit of the glaze, adding cocoa, and then feathering it). Let soften in the fridge for a bit. SOOOOOO good (and easy)

I would love to see you try the Cheat Lemon Pie recipe. It’s 4 ingredients and very good. Also, as someone with weird foods things, I wonder if you would like prosciutto if you made it crispy? Whenever I serve crostini to a crowd I always crisp the prosciutto so it doesn’t slide off when you bite into it. Thanks for another lovely video

A tip I have for parchment paper is to pull the size you need and then crumple it in to a ball. When you open it back up it lays flat, easy peasy!

I too don’t like prosciutto, however, I had a sandwich where they bake it sort of like bacon. Makes it amazing, goes crispy, and you can still use it, and all the same applications. Yum! totally top trying your Barada toast. FYI, my sandwich was croissant fig jam Fontana baked prosciutto and micro greens.

Yes! Frying or baking the prosciutto is the only way to have it! Crispy & thin with a bacon type flavor. I like doing a toast with honey goat cheese, fig jam or pepper jelly, with the fried/baked prosciutto!

I like to use plain yogurt but I add my own toppings that make it flavorful and sweet! I might add a little of my favorite jam, fresh berries, candied wallnuts and cranberries, maybe some mini chocolate chips. I get to control the flavor. It can also kind of work as a healthier/milder sour cream substitute in a pinch

You can take your parchment paper and crumble it up in your hands and then straighten it out. It's much easier and doesn't effect your parchment paper at all.

for the strawberry dessert at the end of the video...I made them with strawberry jam and just before eating them I transport them in the fridge so they arent as cold as they are in the freezer, i found it works much better that way!

Tip for your parchment... wad it up into a ball (like you're gonna throw it away) and then carefully un-wad it... it will conform to any pan shape and not ball up on you. ❤❤

There's this "modern" brunch place in my city that serves dishes you never really thought would work but they do. When i was there last, i ordered a sourdough toast with whipped ricotta with orange (both juice and zest), arugula, prosciutto, and candied blackberries. When i tell you that it was one of the absolute best toasts I've ever had, i mean it. I would've never thought about it, but it was so good

Honestly I use plain greek yogurt as a replacement for cream or sour cream in recipes, because my lactose intolerant stomach will be fine with greek yogurt and so far it's worked out well for me. I hate black coffee so much so... might just be what you use it for that makes a difference!
