Red Velvet are considered one of the vocal queens of kpop. Them and Mamamoo are THE vocal queens of the 3rd gen. Wendy (blonde hair in Psycho) is one of the best vocalists in all of kpop, seriously, she’s so talented. These songs are very good introduction songs to them, some of their best title tracks. I’d definitely recommend listening to more of their music. There was a special performance called the 00’s performance of Psycho (they were all born in 2000 lol). It has Hyunjin from Stray Kids, Bomin from Golden Child, Daehwi from Ab6ix, and Sanha from Astro in it. Hyunjin ends up doing that super high note part (Wendy and Seulgi’s part) which is crazy to me, because people have said he can’t sing 💀 anyways I think you would like it, and I’d love to see you react to it!

I disagree that they are all velvet. Peek-a-boo is red with a spooky/supernatural thread, as many of their red songs have. Bouncy music with dark lyrical themes is a RV specialty. Really Bad Bay (RBB) and Russian Roulette are that way as well, as opposed to a red song that is just a bop like Dumb Dumb, Red Flavor, or Umpah Umpah.

Ok so if you'd like a guide about them to watch (to react to or watch in your own time), I have two recommendations. The first one is shorter but still really good and funny, it's called "(Un)helpful Guide to Red Velvet Early 2021" by Kpopops. This first one is probably better suited for reacting cause it's not very long (~25 minutes). I think the book cover for Bad Boy (it obviously didn't have the greatest translation) was intended to offer art aesthetics/styles/genre similar to "This is Not a Pipe" and various surrealist art pieces. You can also see connections with the mv concept. There is one part where someone pushes a button on a typewriter and Yeri starts to like melt and pass out. The bed being in the center of these snowy mountains/hills, an open tile bathtub as it snows, a conveniently located room with a bed, the chandelier set, and pretty much anything else. I think the intention was to have an abstract/avant-garde mv set that fused with 3rd generation kpop.
