I've got a qs138 v3 90h in a kx450 I'm planning to push to 600a at 76v nominal. so ill get 65hp out of it if I'm lucky, and that's only for 1 pull before the motor over heats. heat is the main reason these motors cant do more. I've burnt up 3 different qs165 motors pushing 28kw through them.

U might be disappointed when u get to Florida. I probably depends on where in Florida u locate to but there's not alot a places to ride. I use to ride and I brought my bikes with me but I kinda lost interest because there's not alot of are to ride. There's some areas but not like what I've seen in your video, and it's all sand which is fine but the dirt doesn't really and structure to it, it's just sand

lol. battery current gives you torque and motor current gives you speed? no. volts gives you speed. a motor's kv rating is rpm x volts. 300kv is 300rpm at 1 volt. 600rpm at 2v. 900rpm at 3v. etc. so a 300kv motor on a 67.2v battery is 300x67.2 = 20,160rpm at the motor sprocket. a 300kv motor at 84v is 300x84=25,200rpm at the motor sprocket.. then gear ratios to find wheel rpm, then rpm and tire size for max theoretical unloaded speed. battery current means literally nothing for a bike's speed. a 20 million amp battery running on a 20A controller will still only pull 20A. as long as the battery is capable of discharging at the current that the controller is drawing youre fine. you always want your battery to be ablke to handle more curent than youre asking of it because lower amp draw = lower heat/ more run time/ longer life/ etc. and if your battery is not capable of discharging at the controller's current then thats a battery fire waiting to happen. thermal runaway is a mother fucker. i have a 800A battery (20s2p spim08hp) on a 200A controller (sabvoton 72200) and a 720A battery (20s16p molicel p42A) on a 500A controller (3 shul CL1000). etc. putting a battery into a bike with higher discharge current capabilities will give you identical performance because batteries do not push power, components pull power. electricity wise the only way to raise your speed is to raise your voltages or get a motor with a higher KV rating. the amperage of the controller = more torque. whatever the controller current is that is what your motor is running at. you cant individually control a motor and controller's amperage. and the controller current means more torque because with a stronger current of electricity going to the coils in the motor there is a stronger electromagnet being created which can push off the magnetsa with more force. volts = rpm amps = torque
