That’s what I figured they would do in this video so it’s not quite a fair race because many vip tours enter through the LL entrance. I’ve been behind several and love eavesdropping on the guides info!

Amazing, Quincy!!!😄 This made me feel so nostalgic for the four parks in one day days before the pandemic. Now I have two littles and we move much more at the speed of the Mortimer videos😂 still just as fun though😊

Way to go, Quincy! I’m not sure I’d do a VIP tour due to its high costs, but it was interesting learning about it from someone who has had the opportunity to experience it. The editor’s comments were on point 😂. Loved the parent cameos-they were having so much fun!

Doing a VIP tour at Disneyland this June- beyond excited! I’ve talked to others who said they have done 22 rides on the tour (DL and Cal Adv). Surprised to see only 9 rides for DWorld- but I do appreciate going across four parks. Being driven to each is epic.

I'm only halfway through the video, so you may get there, but I'd love to know how much time was saved in transportation between parks. I can't imagine ever paying for a VIP tour, but the park hopping seems like the biggest value add for the tour.

This was a great video! I get the challenge but all I kept thinking was it would have been less than $80 for genie+ all parks, 2 ILLs and would have saved a ton of time! But at least we know the time will only improve with paying to skip the line.

As an Incredipass AP who visits as a solo traveler and occasionally use ILL and G+, and always get a VQ a VIP tour will never be worth that crazy cost to me, no matter how amazing the Cast Members are. I’ve frequently been waiting in the same LL line with them and my thought is always it makes no sense to wait in the same line with G+ guests paying $700+ per hour!😱😱😱 I also don’t particularly like all the backstage usage on these tours, in my opinion that’s a big break in the magic of walking the parks. I don’t need to mad dash all day in Disney, I like the relaxed touring I can do as an AP.

I think you’re misunderstanding a VIP tour. I think you need to look up some other videos on this topic. There is no mad dashing for rides all day. You also don’t go through the “backstage” as often as you think you are, you don’t see anything you’re not suppose to. You never see characters out of costume or anything like that. The VIP guide does what you want, so if you want to stay in one park, you stay in one park. You want all 4 you go to all 4. It’s up to you…. However you need to be realistic with what can actually be done in your time.

They should offer a discount for any missed attractions on a VIP tour. Or at least give each person a redemption ride pass during the stay.

What missed attractions? You can’t do everything on a VIP tour. You have to be realistic with what you want to do.

Nope, it was just the travel to the park and between guardians and soarin, riding soarin, and a bathroom break.

I think worth it is subjective and all depends on your circumstances, wants, and needs. Personally, no, it's not worth it. Can I afford it? Yes. But I also think some of the joy (at least for me and my family) of going to WDW is experiencing some of the things you aren't going to experience on those tours. Years ago there was an extra tour you could pay for that would take you to all four parks, you would ride a couple rides in each park and get lunch, driven around in a van, etc. I can't remember the name of it but it was like $700 per person. That was worth it for us because we go often and always do one kind of expensive experience each time.

Exactly!!!! Like you said and I’ve said. If you can afford it why not. We’ve done several with the same tour guide. She’s one of our good friends now. You don’t need the tour guide to have fun. Worth it is subjective to if you want it, DVC, AP, and of that of all your budget and if you think it’s worth it.

No, because you don’t go backstage as much as you think. On the rides you go into the lighting lane line. Idk if this just wasn’t explained well in the video.

The question I have though is to be able to say go to all 4 parks with the VIP tour guide do you have to have a ticket for all 4 parks or would you only have to have a ticket for one of the parks?

I see the appeal of a VIP tour BUT with good strategy and maybe $50 for genie + LL you can totally ride those rides and many more in 7 hours … I stood in front of a VIP tour on guardians once and the tour guide was lovely but didn’t say anything that I didn’t already know about the ride , then they sat in the last row which you can request even if you don’t have VIP tour; to me that’s just too much money for what it is

That’s not all a VIP Tour is. It’s not just getting on rides first. Also some people who get VIP tour guides are boring and use them to watch the kids. We love our VIP tour guide and have a blast. It’s really the people that make it boring.

Have you actually been on a VIP tour? Because it doesn’t sound like you have from this essay you wrote. It’s all speculation.
