Absolutely stunning. Have skirted Chamonix many times driving up to Mont Blanc transiting to Italy, but never had the pleasure of visiting, so thank you for the little trip into the town. Yes, it's expensive, but you know it will be, and your also paying for those fantastic views. Loving this trip Mr and Mrs Flyer.

Hi Andy … talked to dealer on Friday and he said BMW have said they will not even issue an update until some time in Q1 2025 !!!! So that’s not getting the luggage, that’s just an update… I ordered this bike in February and took delivery in May .. and ordered it with a mind to ride it to Germany … my partner lives near Frankfurt .. also thought this would be a good bike for her to start being a pillion ….. The bike cost £25k !!! I feel totally let down by BMW .. it’s terrible !!!Thanks for asking .. Mike

Morning, great video, I cycled from Geneva airport to Martigny in Switzerland this summer with an old school mate, we are both retired now, so no rush did it over two days, the roads we took were amazing in the quality and the views. Even through Geneva to the border the cycle lanes and roads were superb. We left our cycle boxes at Geneva airport luggage store for any body considering it, some fantastic climbs both ways, however definitely quicker on the return leg. Haven’t had a motorbike since the 80’s but now considering it having watched you, Itchy boots and Freddie Dobbs.

"How lucky we are.." you said at one point; indeed (although I believe you largely make your own luck), traveling thru that area on a nice day on a big bike is difficult to beat. I too used to ski a lot in around there - in fact one of my favourites is close to where the vid finished, Verbier. I was there at the height of the craziness in the late 90s, unforgettable!!

Rode to Chamonix June just gone on my 1200 goldwing spectacular roads and passes around there did France ,Switzerland and Italy all in one by doing the st Bernard pass from Switzerland to Italy then back to France via the mont blonc tunnel amazing days ride .

Lovely video again Andy. I love Switzerland and the scenery is wonderful. I do Vintage Bike hillclimbing over there, normally every 2 years but Covid screwed things up a bit! 2026 is the next one. It's called SeeBodenAlp Bergrennen am Rigi. Wonderful, but you are right, it's bloody expensive, although having Swiss friends does help. Look forward to the next vid.. Love the sound of that flat 6 + Auto.

Great vid Andy, as everyone else has said, fantastic views……real shame to see the glaciers retreated though from when you last saw them…..I was in Canada in 2007 and was lucky enough to get to ride in those big truck thingys on to the the Athabasca glacier with my wife and 3 kids. The kids who were 10 and 8 ( twins!) at the time…got some great pics…but when I watched your Canada tour, I was dismayed to see when you stopped there, how the Athabasca glacier had receded, in only a short number of years….I hear they’ve stopped doing the trips on to the glacier now as it’s not safe…plus not much left to go on….climate is changing the glaciers ( for whatever reasons)….we all need to do what we can, and enjoy it while lasts…Thanks for doing you tour vids and taking us along….it’s a lot of work for you, appreciated, but we all love it…Thanks Andy.

You captured some great footage. Also, that meal high up in the mountains is worth every € just for the location. Carol & I rode past that France/Switzerland border when we circled Mont Blanc a couple of years ago. Think you will see Martigny way way below. We headed over the Gt St Bernard pass to Aosta then back to Bourg St Maurice. Amazing riding. Don't always comment as we watch on the TV but loving the touring stuff.
