Good video G, great race. I wonder if, given the amount of walking you do in your films, it might be an idea to get some decent walking boots. They'd have seen you through the puddles. Some lovely scenery. I have been to the other Exmouth, in Australia. I didn't see any trains, sadly, I just got very, very drunk.

Great stuff, G. I went to uni in Exeter so it’s great to see this. The “flowing water” at 4:04 is actually the Exeter ship canal which is the oldest canal in England I think (it was built to avoid the weirs on the River exe so that ships could still reach Exeter Quay.) having canoed along the ship canal to the excellent Double Locks pub, I can confirm that the water doesn’t flow down there 😜

I've raced a train before but thats because I needed to get to Crawley st a certain time so I had to catch a southern service to Gatwick Airport to overtake the original train I needed and wait for it at Gatwick Airport 😅

From a local who was born within about 100 metres of the River Exe... Probably quicker to have walked to Topsham a different route (but not as scenic!) It is the River Clyst, pronounced 'Clist' Rather you than me doing that walk though.
