Awesome video, Can I just buy the rim and convert my Himalayan to tubeless? I don’t doo off road, Soo will it be possible just buy the rim and install tubeless tyres and not doo anything extra to block the spoke holes from inside the rim with a sealant or something or is it just straight forward?

You will have to do all of that to make ANY run with spokes running in the centre a tubeless set up .

Ben, Excellent info. One question though. I see that Alloy Wheels are available on Royal Enfield's website, so what would be the major factor in choosing RCB ones? Better quality/Better price/Less weight/Not available for Himalayan? Not questioning your judgment or decision, but just trying to understand it better.

RE doesn't have rims for himalayan as accessory. RCB are very good quality (7116 grade aluminium) for a fantastic price and they weigh less than excel ones.

YES VERY SORRY for misguiding you. these rims have been used by fellows double my weight on serious gnarly terrain and that was they reason why i had to commit to buying and testing them. will keep you guys updated about how they perform .

I agree. Isn’t it possible to switch to a different spoke instead? Losing 1.6kg is a lot, if you save as much in the rear that’s 3kg+ total!
