I agree 💯% that Landon Huffman is a heck of a shoe & has definitely proven himself especially this past summer where he won a big “CARS”” tour race & winning approximately $33,000 & now this big second place finish at Martinsville & a handful of feature wins at his hometown track at Hickory Motor Speedway in his own pro late model & limited late model 👍 Landon has a lot of great support that’s for sure starting with his dad Robert Huffman who was no slouch behind the wheel winning two Hickory Speedway Track Championships & 4 Nascar Goody’s Dash Series Championships 🏁 in which most people reading this already know but i thought even if only 1 person reading my comment wasn’t aware of that then they now know & can maybe tell someone else 😉 Anyways Cheers from🇨🇦 my awesome fellow American🇺🇸racing fans!

It would be nice but...the new culture is about really young men(kids) getting the rides, and they somewhat buy thier way in. I am not complaining about "rich kids" but the proof is in the reality of who is in the cars now. But racing has always been about needing money to be competitive, and only few examples of that not being the case in recent history. I do like the fact that Landon is old school in all this and does win with a low budget!

Landon, anybody who was there saw that 22 car in the top 5 all day. Your patience was brilliant and the result showed that; you waited for the right time and made the move. In my opinion, what you did was just as good as a win. In your first time there in a late model, you guys put the field on notice. I’d argue that race was as good as any cup race this year.

You ran a hell of a race, and clean as well! You should be very proud of the effort that yourself and your team put in! I wish I lived closer to your 75 race shop, I'd definitely volunteer my time to help, whether it be sweeping floors, heating and scraping tires, or wiping down the car before races! If you ever need any extra help on Saturday nights, at Hickory, Tri County, or Florence, let me know. My dream has been to drive a Late Model, but the next best thing would be to help in the pits. I'd go as far as saying, I'd pay for my own entry into the pits! I just want the experience of working on a race team! My dad worked for the #1 Skoal Team when I was growing up! He machined restrictor plates, and several other parts for the car. And my grandpaw worked in the machine shop for the #33 Skoal Bandit car. The drivers included, Harry Gant, Robert Pressly, Phil Parsons, and Rick Mast! Seriously, any time you need an extra hand with the car on Saturday nights, just let me know!

There is no doub't in my mind, if Trevor had roughed Landon up in that final pass, I almost guarantee Landon would have handled the last lap differently. Landon was just racing like he was being raced. You race me clean, I will race you clean. If the bump and run had gone wrong, it could have taken both cars out. I guarantee Mr. Nelson is totally satisfied with the outcome.

I know your dejected about being that close to a “Martinsville Clock” but you definitely sent another message to the “Racing Gods” that your the real deal with winning that big race about a month ago where you won & $33,000 i believe it was?! + this strong 2nd place finish at Martinsville which showed everyone that your big $33,000 win about a month ago in the “CARS” tour was no fluke + this big race where you finished an impressive hard fought battle for 2nd place with a handful of laps racing side by side with you on the high side which is no easy task at some tracks & this track was no different with Martinsville basically being a 1 groove track & you did a heck of a job by running up high for a handful of laps side by side & it showed your never say die determination that’s for sure!🤙 ……. You also had a handful of feature wins in your own equipment in limited late model & your “High Rock Vodka” late model.
