Racing Line Comparison

This was an exercise in how to take a few short seconds of interesting video, add maybe 30 hours of time (what can I say? I work slow!), and then cutting much of the resulting footage. The result is just under 2 minutes of (hopefully) entertaining video--- with a shameless plea for subscribers at the end. I hope you like it.

This analysis is awesome. The only way it could be bettered is maybe having some on-board footage cut in too? Not sure how you could get your hands on any however, and I'm sure you've considered it anyway. No criticism intended, just total admiration for your work and the riders. Thanks very much. 🤘

Looks like hickman Takes a tighter apex to me. Great work well worth the 2 hours work last night mate.

Tighter line kept Hickman out of the oil. Rutter went a bit wider and had some excitement!

udubidub you are absolutely right. I find it fascinating, however, that it was possible to compare four riders frame by frame and three of them, at the same point in the turn, were sharing identical trajectories. I can't explain why Hillier launched, but I think his unique trajectory played a part.-- maybe loading up the suspension and the rebound launched him. I don''t know. Thanks for watching.
