It's shifting from 1st getting into 2nd for a split second then instantly into third. Very common issue that when tuning becomes a thing on these cars it'll fix it.

@@joeykemeny6085 Not much difference with axles, from Bluecifers and that 24. And I'm sure Blue has a better than stock clutch.. Betting they aren't any stronger it's a base model not a GT500.. They are still using the same axles from the S550's..

@@marcasswellbmd6922 the axles was a bit dramatic by me. and yes i know he has a upgraded clutch but other then that a stock mt82 and stock driveshaft (idk if his driveshaft is stock) are not up to par with drag racing a 700+ hp stick shift car on slicks. also the 2024 gt is an auto . the comment wasn’t meant to be taking that serious. but im sure that’s the reason he doesn’t drag race bluecifer or he would have already. wasn’t trying to diss you. i was just joking since these are why im terrified to do digs in my s197 🥲

I normally go to Cecil on Fridays smh. I just installed a new Tremec TKX in my car Thursday though so I can’t run it on the strip until I finish the 500 mile break in for the trans and new clutch. Hopefully I’ll run into you guys out there sometime this fall/winter!

Good runs for sure but the suspension is not limiting your 60' at this point. The car is flat off throttle and may be related to the gear it is optioned with. That said, may be the perfect option for when you add the whipple and gobs of torque.

I noticed it also shifted early since the first run. Not 2nd gear but 3rd, I thought you were paddle shifting because of it until I ran it back and no, the computer shifted early.

I have almost the same setup as Apex except mine is the 401a premium. My car does that same short 2-3 shift 💩too. The only way around it is to use the paddle shifters. Haven’t had mine on the track yet but on a stock tire my best dragy time is 12.09.

I'd be surprised if you go much faster than 1.8 60' without a torque converter. You need to be able to stall it up higher to get more into the power band. The coyote just doesn't make any torque at 2100 RPM where you are leaving from. Also you and Jake don't need to do the 15 sec burnouts you are just killing your tires. Burn em for 3 or 4 secs until you see smoke and you are good and let it roll out still burning out as the car starts rolling. The burnout the GT500 does is closer to what is needed. Any longer and you are just wasting your tires. Glad to see you finally got to the track though.

Rather than bring it up on the converter, just nail it from an idle and flash the converter... might help that 60ft time.
