Part 2 of my new racing pigeon loft build! we are still going with the small pigeon loft and small team theme in this build!
im keen to get this knocked out before the coming weekend so we can get some birds in there asap!!!!

Can’t wait for the new loft to be finished and birds be transferred there. My favorite pair on eggs is the mealy and the pied cock, so excited to see what they come up with. Also, the split hen who is a good mother is always exciting to see when she has chicks, she is so protective.

The flooring would be 17-millimetre thick plywood which would equal 1/2 inch thick plywood in America. You can buy at any store that sells wood and tools. The yellow flooring for the aviary is molded fiberglass grating. You have to custom order it.

Quick question mate I have a baby pigeon and the mother didn’t return home. So far the father is taking care of the baby will he stop if the female doesn’t return or will he raise the chick btw the chick is only 1 week old

The holes of the grid flooring may be too big for the mice

I don't think it will be a problem. Feed will be kept minimal during training and racing and the surrounding areas are too wide open for mice to go to the loft.

You kniw why.? They are used to building a loft by oaks? Birds felted they are being home... The reason why perches are pre requisite ..... They cannot be on ther pinnacles without lingering on the woods.. They are utmost- dwelling out of it...
