I m trying the bull system, i have a precious male and i prefer to leave him with the first hen untill she lay the second egg. But unfortunately when i introduce the second hen, he dont want her and he is literary beat her. Can you please help me? Thanks alot!

Sorry for the late reply, unfortunately not every male works well on the bull system. There are variables, if the cock bird was paired and held with a single hen for an extended time..he'll be aggressive, I would try putting him into rotation before pairing to any certain hen. Just my opinion

After a pair of effs are kaid, how long do you wait until you move them to pumpers? Also, how long until she drops the next two eggs?

I move them right away if the pumpers have laid. If not, I still pull from the hens in the stallion system and wait for pumpers to lay

@@WingsOfPeace518 Yes, pumpers lay their own about the same time as the stallion system hens. Usually 10 days before the hens lay again, but I usually switch hens and give them a break

The better method is at day 6 you let her see her old mate, and when she lays, she and her old mate can rear the babies, that way no need fo pumpers, still, well designed compartments, good ijob

I don't want to wear the hens out and also want to use polygamous on the hens as well. Pumpers allow me to rest the hen and breed onto another cock bird

@H Rodriguez been watching this since last night. It's a 1:4 ratio. You choose the good line of cocks that you wish to breed. After laying their eggs, the foster comes in and the breeder hens gets to rest for a certain period to recover from stress. It depends how many rounds you want to produce eggs as long as their are in good shape, healthy and fit to lay another sets of eggs. Then you can put in another set of cock and hens so the old ones gets to rest and wait for the next season you wish to breed them.

I didn't end up fostering his eggs. Left for work and the eggs were left unattended. When I came back, I ended up selling him..pretty sure they were all fertile though.
