Slowly and surely we are working our system to teach them the way to reroute themselves if they are ever pulled a different direction. This is the overfly course, eventually we’ll hit the highway towards Kansas and never have to go back onto this course. This is what helps the birds return home if they overflew on any given day. Thanks for tuning in, we’re getting ready to go to 30-50miles in the next week or two.

That is exactly what I need... a webcam! Then I would never get any work done I could just sit and look at the birds. They are looking good! When do your races start?

We are only sending birds to one loft racing as of now. We have a busy schedule and won’t be able to club race, this here is the days between when we can fly our birds, these are just our newly crossbred young birds from late last summer we are testing out whenever we can, just to see what they’re made of.

Sending birds to Apple Cup … interesting races this year 😮

Nope, our birds haven’t even laid eggs yet. Only one pair hatched just one baby this year. And another pair just barely laid. So I think we might miss the whole year entirely, birds being born later then march or April we kind of don’t want to send out unless it’s to a late hatch yearling race. As they might not finish molting in time once they arrive and the training starts. Birds get lost during training more easily if their feathers are in molt from what i heard.

Plus at this time we decided that we are only flying the big international one loft races. We rather see our birds in the same race to fly against birds of the whole world instead of just local breeders of the U.S.A A race bird will compete against other good birds no matter what, might as well race the big races, and if on any given day a bird lands and wins big, your time breeding would have been much more worth the while.

Just wondering now would a pigeon make it from Alaska to where you are staying at , I definitely going to miss having pigeons bcuz I don't have a place for them
@xiongguysloft9560 Жыл бұрын
Nope, it is too far. Any pigeon ever fly that distance would be a record holder. The farthest is probably 800miles, but that’s with serious training and conditioning specifically for that race. Here we are just testing the heck out of our new crossbred birds to see what they’re made of. Good luck, racing Pigeons isn’t for everyone. You gotta have a loft atleast to keep a few.

And by the way I subscribed to your channel. If you want any birds, contact the pigeon fanciers from midnight pigeon club in alaska, I sold and gave away alot of my good racing pigeons to fanciers from there before i moved. Good luck 👍
