Frankel's Greatest Hits on Racing TV - a trip down memory lane & some special performances

Widely regarded as one of the greatest racehorses of all time, the Sir Henry Cecil-trained Frankel enjoyed a flawless career which yielded 14 wins from as many starts.
We have taken a look back at some of his most memorable performances on Racing TV, including his debut win at Newmarket, dual successes in the Sussex Stakes and on QIPCO British Champions Day. Along with his Juddmonte International triumph & that QIPCO 2000 Guineas victory.

Frankel was owned by the late Prince Khalid Abdullah, trained by the late Sir Henry Cecil and ridden in all 14 of his races by Tom Queally.
He has since gone to become a champion sire at stud with some of his progeny including Alpinista, Cracksman, Westover, Adayar, Courage Mon Ami, Hurricane Lane, Mostahdaf, Chaldean, Inspiral and Nashwa.

A pace maker cannot effect the speed and stamina of a horse. They are there to ensure a decent pace, For any horse to benefit by slipstreaming the one in front They to be directly behind the horse in front, exactly 1.5L Frankel has proven in quite a few races that he didn't need a pace maker. BT was the so-called pacemaker, in just 4 races BTW Every race in history, pitting one against the other, in any sport in the world, has or had a pacemaker. It's who's leading the race at that moment in time 🤣

@protarget1 if the trai er never thi k that the pacemaker can help the horse then they wouldn't have used one..if every other competitors in the race had decided to slow down the pace,because they knew that Frankel loved a strong pace to come off then probably we would have had different results in most of those races!u talking crap

I've just explained, Physics says, for a horse to benefit from a pace maker, it has to be exactly 1.5L directly behind. to keep In the slip stream, any further behind, left or right no help. Watch F1 when they are over taking, same principle. In HR, a pacemaker is only there to ensure a good gallop, to make sure, 8-12f race is not allowed to be run that slow, it turns into a 5f sprint, Exact same in 5000/10000mts races in Athletics

the Queen anne stakes at royal ascot on soft ground Frankel won easing down was only point 69 of a second off the course record the only horse i can see doing that may be one of his progeny supreme horse trained by another legend Sir Henry Cecil

We'll never see another like Frankel. Each Stallion has 32 pairs of chromosomes, so each potential sperm has a random mix from each pair. That's a chance of one in 2 to the power of 32 (2x2x2 etc, 32 times) The Mare has the same number of chromosomes to produce the egg , so you multiply 2 to the power of 64. To give some perspective on this, the probability is the same as every human being on the planet winning the lottery not once, but 54 times each. Just for the number people, the probability is 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 to 1. Yup, for sure we'll not see the like of him again.
