Leftists will intensify their efforts against him now. Their ideology is almost a religion. It is based on faith. If you believe, you are accepted. If not, you are the enemy. Evidence doesn't matter. If you mention that anti-racism is just racism masked as a vector in the other direction, they will claim you are denying systemic racism and are yourself a racist. This makes it completely unfalsifiable. It is more than an ideology, it is almost religious in nature. If you try to point out the flaws of their logic, they will just tell you that logic is a white person's product of racism. If you show them the truth about "anti-racism" they will then present a KAFKA-TRAP FALLACY claiming because you deny it - you are part of it.

Critical Race Theory, which is downstream from The Frankfurt School; is inherently anti-White and should be opposed by every White person. It's essentially marxism for race. Some people are upset that hundreds of years ago a particular race was not treated well here in the US, and now, hundreds of years later, want the race that mistreated them punished for equality sake. It's about equality. And all equality extremists are marxists. That's why I call it marxism for race. And if you go digging - you'll find right away that those advocating for Critical Race Theory (Example: Ibram X Kendi) are indeed marxists. But they are also racists, and most post modernists too. They are racists in the old definition of the word, and post modernists in that they forcefully changed the definition of racism to include their marxist definitions (systemic racism, institutional racism, critical race theory). And people need to be educated to their purpose so these marxists can be swallowed into oblivion from future history books.

And they frame everything in terms of a power struggle and nothing else, so inevitably, the conversation gravitates to the subject of "oppression." More Jacques Derrida / Michael Foucault crap.

Until the Universities go back to their foundation, civil discourse, they are but a wasteland to all of us with critical-thinking skills. Aside from engineering and architecture, I would be very cautious in hiring a college grad. I would do a lot more investigating. But, this Marxist critical theory has poisoned so many corporations that it wouldn’t matter. Hence, the need for the lockdowns. Close all the small businesses that would stand against the new totalitarian regime by Jezebel Harris. History affirms it’s only going to get worse. I will keep this professor in my prayers. I came very close to losing some good friends because I told them I wouldn't vote for Biden simply because he promised to overturn Trump's ban on CRT. One of them even insinuated that this was due to complicit racism on my part. The only thing that saved these relationships was my understanding that these friends had not been directly exposed to CRT training as I had. The vast majority of people have been completely fooled into believing that CRT is just a modernized term for diversity training. Since then it's been a frustratingly tedious, ongoing process to show them what they voted for simply because of their hatred for Trump.

Yet administrations continue to side with the students. Are you sure there will be enough of you to turn your universities away from an agenda that their administrators and some of your colleagues are supporting? Will you all roar loud enough to be heard, or will your messages be limited to one off professors standing up and others quietly supporting them online? I've seen professors who openly speak their mind and share their voice and opinion, but even a number of sensible classical liberal professors will give credence to the woes of this crowd, and that inch is a lightyear for the mob. I do hope you are correct, I simply have my doubts as a recent MBA graduate, who saw students who adamantly disagreed with this form of thought mudle their voice when a professor or fellow student would speak in these terms, and professors who would shy from any attempt at such politically associated speech. I only had one who spoke up against this, and the ones who spoke for it always presented it as "nothing radical" and "just common sense", which swayed students who had faith in their professors. That was my experience in business school, and undergraduate was worse, and that was half a decade ago

I am a 3rd year Psychology student at Grand Canyon University, I have been lucky to only come up against 1 Progressive Social Justice advocate in a debate and was praised by my professor for how I handled them. Critical theory is one of the most psychologically damaging theories that I have encountered in the modern era. DiAngelo and her fellow cultists are preaching a psuedo-science/religion to people who do not know any better, hence why she has become so successful at embedding her doctrine into universities, corporations, and the culture at large. Not only does this ideology prey upon our tribal instincts, it also preys upon people's idealism for how society "should be". I will restate this is a very dangerous doctrine, especially for younger children whose minds are still adapting to what reality is and how they should function in society. We are just starting to see the backlash from this belief system. Once I enter into a clinical practice, I fully expect to encounter those who have been destroyed by this ideology, I also expect to encounter the true believers in this ideology. As a result, I am training myself to deprogram those whose perception has been destroyed by Critical Theory. I do not believe that it is an impossibility to break this conditioning that those who practice this ideology have mastered.

Diversity, as currently being pushed, begins with division and segregation. It requires separating everyone into racial, gender, whatever category before bean counting to see how many of each group in included in an unit or organization. So at the core, it appears the "woke" crowd are really segregationists at heart. So let's throw out all the social justice psychobabble and judge one another based on content of character and not color of skin. A person's actions speak volumes more about the person than what category they are segregated into. When forming a team I don't care one iota about whether a group is "represented", I care about what talents, experiences, skill sets, and abilities they bring to the table.

Clearly you know nothing about what you're talking about, the entire point of Critical Race Theory (CRT) and other similar ideas is to ultimately eliminate the ideologies of race, gender, etc. The reason why CRT focuses so much on our racial differences is because we already live in such an extremely racialized society (that has been built upon for centuries) where differences in race can lead to variations in privilege. This isn't about biological differences either, it's about systematically prescribed social ones because race is mostly a social concept. First we have to acknowledge how the system separates us before we can be brought together. Next time before you speak, actually do some research on what you're talking about. I highly recommend reading "The Racial Contract" by Charles W. Mills if you want to actually understand what you're talking about. If you're truly interested in having constructive discussions surrounding race, you should first try to understand the ideas of your opposition.

I'm not from the US but I saw an interesting online course about a year ago from the university of Vermont. When I tried to register, it asked me for my racial profile and sexual preferences. I thought this was quite offensive as i firmly believe those things to be entirely irrelevant to anything that I do professionally. I decided I didn't want to register after all, because it just felt too wrong. Looking at this video today, makes me realise I made the right choice. I can't imagine putting such a racist institution on my CV. Also: what the hell is going on in the US?!

Thank you for speaking out. We need more brave souls like you to fight against this horrible ideology. Unfortunately, it's everywhere now. I am currently taking a graduate level course at a college in California. Although it is suppose to be a writing course for teachers, it's all about Critical Social Justice. I am required to read articles that tell me "White teachers spirit murder students of color." and "Whiteness reproducers poverty, failing schools, high unemployment, school closings, and trauma for people of color." (From Theory Over Gimmicks by Bettina Love) When I wrote a paper that gave a counter argument to this narrative, I was met with hostility by one of my classmates who called me a "stupid ostrich." Then I had to have a meeting with my instructor who said I shouldn't use sources outside of the class like James Lindsay in my papers because it could hurt the feelings of my classmates. So now we have terrifyingly moved from learning to indoctrination in the classroom. Critical Social Justice has to be stopped before it goes too far and people like you who speak out are greatly needed.
@falkenlaser

You should do exactly what James Lindsay did; write papers using critical theory that are so bat fuck insane that they appear to be satire. Write a paper about how all white millionaires and billionaires, specifically Elon Musk and the Koch Brothers, should be laid off from their jobs and replaced with people of color regardless of qualifications (include that in the paper), give their fortunes to black trans women, and institute a “privilege tax” on white people that would be so high that they would only be able to afford basic necessities, and use that money for a universal basic income for black, indigenous, latinx, and trans bodies. Conclude this would fulfill the need for reparations, and would ensure all white people sit in their “white” discomfort.

This professor is SPOT ON!! But this "new type of discrimination" isn't just limited to the campus of the University of Vermont, it's systemic throughout most of the US, and this observation is made by a "non-white" proud American of "color". The US EEOC defines race discrimination as "Race discrimination involves treating someone (an applicant or employee) unfavorably because he/she is of a certain race or because of personal characteristics associated with race (such as hair texture, skin color, or certain facial features). Color discrimination involves treating someone unfavorably because of skin color complexion." Therefore any discrimination by any group of people against another group of people based on their skin color complexion, is RACIAL DISCRIMINATION PERIOD!!! Racists come in all kinds of skin colors and ethnicity and IS NOT limited to only "whites". Any person who holds to this illogical position is a racist themselves but because of their blinded myopic victim mentality, they refuse to look into the mirror since it's easier to point the finger. And like this professor has keenly noted, this new type of racial discrimination against whites, isn't being addresses and is used to silence any kind of civil discourse and opposition because of fear mongering by genuine racists who use the non-existent "white privilege" or "whiteness" as their guilt tripping attack weapon. It's time for those of us Americans "of color" to publicly call out and denounce ANYONE who spews any kind of racism regardless of their skin color or ethnicity. But it's also time for "white" Americans to grow a backbone and stand up for yourselves by throwing off the guilt trip fetters and reject the lie that you were born a racist based on nothing more than the color of your skin!!!!

No one is dismissing the idea that discrimination still happens, but the answer to discrimination is not more discrimination. There is no such thing as "anti-racist" you either are racist or you're not.
@BlackBladed
@BlackBladed 3 жыл бұрын
It's not so hard to understand what an anti-racist is. Most people would say, "I am not a criminal" but does everybody say "I support law enforcement"? If you said, "I don't feel I should have to say I support law enforcement, it's enough to say I don't commit crimes!"
@InciniumVGC
@InciniumVGC 3 жыл бұрын
@@BlackBladed No these are two completely different issues. Law enforcement is a much more complicated issue and you don't have to agree with every decision made by every police officer to support law enforcement, and you can disagree with some of them, or disagree on the role law enforcement should take in society without the assumption that you're a criminal. Whereas being "anti-racist" is a ridiculous concept on its nose. Racism is bad, don't discriminate against people based on race, period. These people that push 'anti-racism' end up being just as racist as those they claim to oppose. They're like the "anti-gay" Christian pastors that turn out to be closet homosexuals.
@BlackBladed
@BlackBladed 3 жыл бұрын
@@InciniumVGC You aren't understanding the comparison I'm making. I'm not talking about whether or not you believe anti-racism and being pro-law enforcement are both good things. You can do this exercise with many topics. "I don't just not steal myself, I oppose theft" "It's not enough to say you don't murder people, you should oppose murder wherever it happens." "You say you aren't a sexist, do you do anything to oppose sexism when you encounter it?" Being an anti-racist is simply stating the same premise. It's not enough to even act in a way that's not racist. We need people like you to discourage racism when needed, and speak up for equality. Can you see how not being something versus being anti-something are different concepts?
@uncletrick1
@uncletrick1 3 жыл бұрын
@@BlackBladed So law enforcement personnel are anti-criminal since they discourage and oppose crime. Yet, some LEs are crooked and criminals themselves, so one could assume that some anti-racists are indeed racist. InciniumVGC's statement is valid. You're either racist or you're not. You actions and attitudes speak volumes on what you support or oppose. One cannot oppose racism against one group of people while marginalizing and being racist toward another group. That makes you a racist.
@InciniumVGC
@InciniumVGC 3 жыл бұрын
@@BlackBladed Continuing what I hope will be a fruitful discussion here and using your analogy, what if you were opposed to theft but you were also opposed to stealing from a person who is guilty of theft? What about stealing from everybody who looks like that person because one person stole? What if you're opposed to murder, but you don't think the person guilty of murder should be murdered in retalitation? How about if you oppose murdering one of their relatives, or a random person that looks like them in response to murder? Is it not enough to be opposed to murder, you have to be "anti-murder" by murdering? This is exactly what the people who push "anti-racism" want to do in response to racism. One white person does something that is racist, so let's go and discriminate against all white people for the color of their skin for that. Do you now see why "anti-racism" is completely ridiculous, nonsensical, and harmful, not to mention racist? How about if we just agree not to discriminate based on race, and punish those who do, but don't punish everyone else for it?

Disagreeing with the tenets of Kendi's brand of antiracism marks one as racist, rather than as someone who simply disagrees with Kendi's approach. This shows we've moved into Kafka territory, where disagreeing with an ideology makes one guilty. The fact that the administration has called for a ritual/ceremony to enshrine Kendi's programme shows that what we are dealing with here is a quasi-religion -- one which fosters (as you have pointed out) "spiritual sickness." To disagree with an ideology that actually fosters racism and division is not to be a racist. To believe that the only way to fight and redress real racism, past or present, is to now seek to institutionalize a different form of racism is incredibly misguided at best and will not lead to a better world.

In brief: as long as the consensus of those pointing their fingers at a perceived "oppressor race" for all of their societal ills insist that members of that race cannot themselves claim to be victims of racism, this kind of utter nonsense will continue.
