To play devil's advocate: Racism is just a disgust response, it is biased, maybe unreasonably so, because that's what disgust is. You are not addressing whether or not that disgust is justified (edit: or rather understandable) for these individuals or if they're doing shock content for attention. It's easy to look at content you disagree with and dismiss it as insincere and completely insane because you lack the negative experiences that these people could have. The world isn't sunshine and rainbows where everyone gets along and makes absolutely sure to fully understand every situation, individual, and perspective before engaging in it.

In one case they are disgusted because they've been wronged, in which case it is honest and you can engage in a conversation and maybe get them to compromise on some of their biases. In the other case they're a filthy grifter that is willing to say literally anything for internet points... like Vaush, in which case it's like talking to a brick wall. We see someone get eaten in our village by a tiger -> we don't stop to question if each tiger is friendly or not, especially not after the third time. Sure maybe the majority of tigers are tame and reasonable but why take risks that can be easily avoided? (Same logic applies to humans.) And then the moralizers online will screech "don't be a tigerphobe!" from their ivory tower. Though that's becoming less and less the case as their rulers open the flood gates to their village for the sake of compassion and reality sets in.
