How do I uninstall the drop down of the bike carrier? Mine is locked into place and will keep the 45% angle all the time

The holder needs to be on the glas and where is the spoiler reinforcement? This is absolutely not safe! You will damage your car or other people if you install it this way!

I really fear these type of bicycle racks. I honestly would pay a little extra to get a hitch bike rack. If my car does not have a hitch and I really wanted to transport my bikes from point A to point B, I would pay a little extra to install a hitch receiver compartible with my car make and model. One just never knows with racks that attached to the car in this way for instance the strapping may fail unknowingly.
