How do you recommend cooking off all the oils and grease when you take it out of the package?

Hi, just received my Pro34 setup...from edge to edge it measures 16.5 X 34.5 In the website it says they are at top 33 X 16 and bottom 33 X 18.5...my question is will these fit my Pro34?

What do you recommend for cleaning ahead of first use? Dishwasher, or a burn off of grease and other items from shipping?

Hey Bill! They are coated in food grade cooking oil. Just install and run the grill at 350 for an hour. I like to cook skin on chicken thighs for the first cook. Helps speed up the seasoning process!
