Don’t buy it unless you get different straps

If you accidentally mixed up the straps and put the short ones where the long ones go, it can be difficult to remove them because they lock in somewhat. But I found using a flat head screw driver wedged between the end of the strap and the cradle unlocks the strap and it slides out. I know this has been a question on other sites.

We are trying to figure out how you put the third strap on. We don’t have a clip that that strap goes into?

Hello. The third strap attachment is integrated into the underside of the cradle, it must hinged down in order to attach the third strap. Thanks!

Hello. As a hanging type rack, the frame must be suitable to hand from the rack arms. Conventional adult bike frames with a horizontal top tube are usually a good fit. Kid's bike frames tend to be too small to fit the rack arms. Can you give me a link for a cheap socket wrench to remove and install this exact Thule camber 2 bike rack from my Santa Fe ? Amazon link or something . I used the wrench that comes with the rack but I couldn’t do it . I went to Home Depot and asked for 3/4 socket wrench but they gave me two parts costing $40 something . Pls give me a link for a socket wrench.

Hello. The included wrench is flat and sometimes may not provide the clearance around the hitch collar to get a good turn. Hello. The Thule hitch bolt purpose is to thread into the stinger to minimize wobble. I did not get the long strap. The instructions are all pictures and not good at all. I already cut off one strap with a knife, and now have a bike mounted with a shirt and long strap. I did not notice the different lengths. I cannot get the racket straps off. Trip to Glacier NP canceled. Can’t get the bike off, so I have to cut off another two straps. A good rack ruined by terrible straps.

If you want to install a Mazda hitch, a section of the rear bumper needs to be cut out. This can be avoided by using an aftermarket hitch.
