Badminton isnt easy , i just started playing in October 2021 and puting my heart and soul in learning , i joined a academy at 37 years Old doing shuttles runs and set of 16 drills 2x an hour a day and play daily 2 hours after that . But im dedicated to be the best at my club. After playing and taking a Shower i can barley move! I LOVE badminton!!!!

Good luck on your journey man, keep it up 👍🏻 it sure is hard to learn new thing when you're not that young anymore, moreover its badminton, one of the most technical sport in the world. I suggest u focus on learning about footwork and rotation more, then learn proper grip after, bcs no matter how powerful you're, it wont work at all without positioning yourself correctly

Now, I have come to know that, even pros use these YONEX strings we use (intermediate club players) Yonex has really done a great job in making these strings affordable and reachable to learning masses

I had seen a vlog by Gronya Somerville (who uses Li Ning rackets) in some tournament where she had her rackets strung by the Yonex stringing team.

Yea the technology has advanced so much. I remember taufik hidayat and tan boon heong said they used a 2u rackets 🤯 nowadays even 5u racket could generate fair amount of power with the correct technique

i think because of balance on they racket if they use 295-300mm++ many use 4u if 285-290 they use 3u

For me 4U is more flexible in playing with speed or with power or even both,while the 3U in some ocassions gives me lack of reaction in defense and drive exchange. The result of smash using 3U is amazing

Surprised so many players using BG65Ti. Then again it’s not too surprising because they need a string durable enough to withstand the smash shots. Good info for me as a stringer.

I still using BG 65ti with 32lbs in my Old School Yonex Carbonex 10. I think this string so much stronger durability and feeling enjoyed to play all-around or power. Mantap.

Great content. I have a question Most of the racket brand suggest that the string tension should be 28 lbs, but almost every pro player string their racket 32 lbs. is that ok with the racket..

@Mister XYZ for me racket is important, choose the right specification will improve your playing style n performance. I have some racket with diferrent specification, first one is excellent for backhand smash but the second one can't generate good backhand smash. find your best specification Will improve alot your performance. 🍻🍻

I've using this for over a decade. It's an old string, no wonder CK was saying to them 'old school' It lasts longer. Surprised that they're not using the latest Yonex strings.

because thicker string can strung up to high tension and lasted longer compared to thinner string...another thing is the weather in europe can affect the string's tension especially who uses the thinner string

No wonder they are breaking the strings so often if the tension is so high! I've tried maximum of 11 kilos and they use something like 13,5 or even 14,5 kilos. The sweet spot is crazy small with those tensions.

Hi, how you are doing with 100zz 4U aerobite boost. My favourite string is BG80 power due to its great repulsive force and hitting feeling. I just bought my 100zz last week which equipped with aerobite boost as i want to try out where aerobite boost can give me a little more of control without lossing repulsive force at the same time. Both are thick strings, which are great in durability. If they use thin strings it will break easily with that kind of tension and smash power they have
