It's funny you mention that and it's not always true. Victor Axelsen knows his equipment inside out. I've seen the same from Kento/LCW/LD/KevinSS/Gideon etc. All the elite pro players know their stuff inside out. As Victor pointed out all those hours of training has paid off. I'm sure these lot must have spent hours and hours testing each racket to help them with their strengths and weaknesses. Dont get me wrong, I'm not saying an intermediate player like me can pick up 88S Pro and suddenly become a pro. And as it has been pointed out their game is different to ours. I actually feel that within their game, a racket change would be a big difference because a lot of the pros are at a similar level and the slightest differences can give you a massive advantage. Hence why it is interesting to note that even amongst Pros, the elites know their stuff inside out without hesitation.

just an advice, I think racket weight is kinda confusing for them. Because Lining don't 4u or 3u to indicate the weight of the racket, the weight is on the racket's name. ex. 900C is obviously a 3u racket since it's a Combat version and weighted 86 gram, etc etc

Honestly unacceptable that these pro's don't know anything about their rackets, weights, strings and tensions. And also some of them are so unprofessional when taking a few simple questions. Is it that hard to be a bit humble and kind? This is what sets players like Victor, Kento and Tzu Ying Tai apart. They are kind, humble and joke around as well.

Funny how some players dont care at all about the weight of their racket nor the tension of their string. Unlike most amateurs who give a big deal about as little as 1lb😁

Main conclusion of this video is everybody has their own settings for the game, Maybe we can follow their settings if we already have a good skills , but if we are still beginner don’t ever copy their setting

I've noticed this more on euro players and it's not as common for more Asian players. I'm not saying the euro players are dumb,it's just what I've noticed.

Your questions reflect a lot. They should know every detail of their equipment and show them whenever they got a chance. Their sponsor paid a lot not only for giving them equipment to play games. And the interview after the game is quite important(Look at F1 or golf), but badminton players look so rushed and ready to leave at any moment, seems like they are not properly trained to be a celebrity in sport.

I agree that badminton is behind in this aspect compared to F1. However it is slowly getting better. Some of the players who didn’t know their equipment when I last spoke to them do now so that’s a step forward too 👍🏼

Viktor Axelsen is using higher main string tension than the cross string tension. In the following video. kzbin.infoc__eszrNq2w?si=X3Sh6wt5hJ5O41C9 In your video he said [31x33] and the video reference I shared with you he said [33x32]. It'll be really great and helpful if you could explain why he did this, as the standard recommendation is to have tighter cross strings over the main strings.
