Thanks Albert. Great content as always. It’s pretty cold in Canada now so I might need to take a trip to Hawaii! I’m just a home stringer doing my own racquets but your tips are always helpful, speed but not to sacrifice quality. You look at every detail so that’s the sign of a perfectionist of your craft so really great for you to share. Thanks and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Aloha Steven, Yes, you might have to join all the other Canadian snowbirds that come here around this time of year! It's funny how I need to think about what I'm actually doing sometimes since my techniques and methods have evolved over years of stringing. Even though you say you're just a home stringer, it's nice to hear how motivated you are to learn the craft of stringing! 🤙 Mele Kalikimaka and Hau'oli Makahiki Hou!!

Never thought of using the stringbed to keep tools closer... such a clever idea!! I would love if you could make a video explaining your super sleek weaving technique, and also some string handling videos... As an amateur stringer, I still sometimes get the string entangled while taking it out of the reel or set. Thanks for sharing your mastery of this art, Albert!!!

Aloha Javier, I made a tutorial video on the Pulling Method of weaving for IART. I teach it by breaking it down into three progressions. If you're a Premium Member, you can check it out here. gssalliance.com/vimeo_videos/weaving-the-cross-strings-using-the-pulling-method/ If you're not an IART Premium Member, please check out their community of passionate racquet stringers, and what they have to offer! gssalliance.com/ As for the handling of strings, I'm posting a video next week on that topic. It's specifically tips for natural gut strings, but you can apply them to other strings too. 🤙

Aloha Ralph, Thanks, and yes, it's a pleasure stringing every time I mount a racquet on my machine. But then again, I felt the same way when I had my Prince P7000 machine too! Stringing is like therapy for me, so it never gets OLD. And it's always nice when you can learn something NEW, even something as helpful as moving your wastebasket location! 👍 Happy Stringing!! 🤙

Great tips Albert! Here I was focused on always trying to improve my weaving speed, when other little things like how I been pulling long string through the frame and repeated trips to the tool tray tying off knots have some room for speed improvements 😁 🤙

Aloha, Thanks for watching! Yes, it's some of these small things that factor into the big picture! If you haven't seen this video, you might want to check out where I demonstrate the One-Ahead Technique, where one is more efficient than the other. aloha albert. since you like prince racquets, im going to call you "prince albert"... thanks for the stringing tips. one thing ive noticed when i string, i spend time getting the loose end of the string that im going to weave is left dangling to the floor. my true tension machine has 4 spring clips, john balaban referred to as string-keepers, that i just slip the end of the string in so the tip is always easy to find. i'll send you a photo of it next time i get a chance. mele kalikimaka...

Aloha DB, I guess I'll take that as a compliment! 👑🎾 The funny thing is my father's name is Arthur and my parents thought Albert would be an appropriate name for me. 🤓 I've never strung on a True Tension before but it's one machine that I would like to try some day. John Gugel in Orlando (kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZqbi4ajorqIarM) has a True Tension machine and swears by it. I wish we had more time when we visited so I could have tried it then.
