Great advice. Everyone new player should watch this. It's also considered a penalty hinder if you don't give your opponent a straight in or cross court shot, which is a side out or point.

So what happens when your opponent serves the ball and it comes right back at him, is he liable to move? This afternoon I played with someone and the ball would land right behind him and he wouldn't move and I hit him three different times trying to return the serve. I told him to move each time but never listened. I just want some clarifications on that subject.

if u cant see the ball on the serve is a screen serve, if he its the ball and comes around him where ur straight shot into the wall is through the guy who served to you then its a penalty hinder if he doesnt make an attempt to move of jump up so u can hit ur straight in shot, same goes for cross court shots also. if he refuses to move and give u a shot u can be nice and hit a ceiling ball or u can hit him really hard and eventually he will move!
