Hour FIVE - Ascension 5:48 -- This is what I've been talking about. The moment you saw that stomp, you knew the LONG dodge sequence you needed to execute and that a Prayerful Strike was going to be the end result. Bullet hell design. I'm not a fan. Good on you for learning it, though.

I really do not think this is a bullet hell situation. It is just an evolution of the existing system. Hear me out. Before, the bosses had - for the sake of argument - 5 attacks. Each attack was a different type of hit that you had to deal with. You dodged, or blocked, one attack and then you punished. Pretty straight forward. Currently, the exact same thing happens. The bosses continue to have 5 attacks. That said, instead of each attack being one move, it is now one combo. So each attack has 3-4 hits in it. So... instead of dodging one attack and punishing, you have to dodge one combo and punishing. The system is the same. Identify attack. Learn attack. Dodge attack. Punish. Instead of "attack", it is now a "combo". Identify combo. Learn combo. Dodge combo. Punish. That's why I knew I was getting a Prayerful Strike. I identified the combo that was coming. I learned how to dodge this combo. I dodge the combo. I punish with Prayerful Strike. Bullet hell, for me, is if Radahn would fire off pillars of light in every part of the arena except for one or two, and you had to stand in the right spot. Another example would be if, for example, Radahn fires of multiple rocks that change patterns and we have to strafe left and right and jump. I don't think this is the situation. Again, I do not like the fight. But it is not unfair. Every combo has an answer and it is up to the player to find it and use it. Thank you for your comment.

Hearing you call out the attacks from 5:30 onwards while talking smack was so funny. "Easy, easy, EASY!" "Where's your boy, Miquella, boi?" "Trade...fuck outta here!" "I ate this, I ate this, I ate this."

This is a very important moment in my journey to beating Radahn. At this exact moment, I got a click where I seeing the attacks and started feeling them. I was able to take this onward to improve my dodges, making them crispier, and beat the boss. It was a level up moment. Thank you for your comment.
