Well I had to come back and brag on what I bought. After watching this review i went to their site and ended up buying the RF760! I was a bit intimidated by the screen having so may settings, but after reading the book that came with it and using it, I have been having a great time. The RF760 is a great SSB radio that covers a large frequency range. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction for a portable receiver!

This radio has a plethora of features. Eye catching design, a retro vintage vibe with the modern tech upgrades and it’s compact. Like that it comes in a protective case, excellent speaker and of course the air band and Bluetooth feature. I think Raddy nailed it again. I have their RF750 handheld receiver ..also retro inspired.

I just bought a Raddy RF75A, which was the first radio to have an app to control the radio, very cool! It surprised me that since it's using Bluetooth to control the radio, that the radio doesn't also use Bluetooth to enable use of wireless headphones/earbuds. Or maybe it does and I just haven't figured out how to tell the app to route the audio. Anyway, that little RF75A seems to be about 1/3 to 1/4 the size of this new RF320, but I'm sure the RF320 sounds better with a bigger speaker and cabinet. #TechMinds

I love the fact that the functionality of this radio can be extended by using an app for direct keypad tuning etc and seems to be a boombox when it comes to audio. I also like the military-look to the radio, reminds me of the veritable National Panasonic DX-400 (RF-966LB) which I have in my collection. #techminds

This radio totally reminds me of my childhood Harvard military style AM radio! I just love the retro looks with modern innards and lots of features. I'm not so keen on the air band; I'd use a dedicated receiver for that. #TechMinds

The radio has a lot to offer in a small form factor. The sound seems to be amazing with the subwoofer. The radio gives both retro and modern functionality which is rather nice. Sad there is no upper and lower side band, that would be the icing on the cake, but it does make the way for another upgraded model to appear. #TECHMINDS

Like many here, I'd have liked an SSB and squelch option, but then perhaps I'm biased in that respect (2E0LNS). Having said that, the extra features like Bluetooth and MP3 functionality would make it a handy little gadget. #techminds

Thank you for the video. It's a modern radio with retro look which I very much like. Very different from others in the market today. Not sure about the size and portability and missing SSB function won't put me off. The APP feature is very unique and I've not come across other brands yet that do something similar. Perhaps Raddy may include a streaming feature from the radio to the App in the future to make it more a remote radio. Great little radio! #techminds

Hello, thank you for the review, I have been looking at this new Radioddity product for some time.. What I definitely like, is how the radio looks, that attracted my attention on the first place. Having subwoofer also promise a good and loud sound. Another plus - 18650 battery, which can be easily replaced. What I do not understand though, what for you need the App?? The idea of connecting EVERYTHING to your smartphone seems to be.. strange, least to say..Or probably, I am too old for this stuff.. Anyway, great review, as usual, you doing good job, dear #TechMinds

I like that the lithium battery is replaceable. Too many electronics nowadays are useless if you let the battery go below voltage and can’t recharge or replace the battery. #TechMinds

The replaceable 18650 battery and the VU meter at the top are very nice to see. The disappointing bit is the lack of SSB capability. Wondering if you've had a look inside, perhaps there's a microcontroller that could be reprogrammed for a few extra features. #TECHMINDS

The remote app control is a great way to cut the costs for hardware down, since no one walks around without his smartphone. If it has a squelch for the air band that can be activated via remote, that would be even better, since listening to static is super annoying and an absolute no-go. I hope in the future they will offer more radios with almost no switches and knobs but a BT interface and, just like this one, a focus on a good speaker with a DSP normalized frequency response. #TechMinds

I wish the RF75A had air band like this one did, but both are great with USB-C and Bluetooth. Ready is really one upping Tecsun, I still love my Tecsun because of the Easy Tuning Mode function for shortwave though, hoping that feature comes to other manufacturers someday. Fun little radio, setting it up now. Tip to all who watch these videos but they never touch on it (or barely if they do): I set here for fifteen minutes trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Reading the manual helps (but I'm not a girl) so I took a gander at the OTHER manual regarding the app specifically INSTEAD of the users manual (they send two): DOWNLOAD THE APP AND PAIR THE RADIO TO YOUR PHONE FIRST!!!!!!!!! Then turn it on with the app on your phone and away you go with your manly status still in tact. Why they don't spell it out with fat crayons is beyond me.

I think this little Raddy radio has a lot to offer to so many, whether your a Ham, SWL, or even a prepper. It is a pity there's no coverage SSB on the Ham bands. But that said it still opens up a world of radio to people who don't always realise just what radio traffic is out there. Being so compact and rechargeable means it's handy to carry without a pocket full of batteries. #TECHMINDS

Perfect blend of old tech look and feel with new tech form and function. The flashlight is a bit much and depending on how the on/off switch is situated, a potential battery killer. The BT receive is cool but would be even better if you had the choice to Tx the received audio via BT as well. If the telescoping antenna is easily removable would be a huge selling point. I don’t know if it is or not. Anyway, cool video as always . Fingers crossed. #Techminds

It looks like the electronics project kit I had as a youngster. Not a Radio Shack but similar. It definatly works better than the radio projects in the kit. Small size would make it very easy to take with you. Nott having a a sealed in battery is a big plus for long term usability. #TECHMINDS

This reminded me of the Gakken EX-System which was a series of educational electronics kits produced by Gakken in the late 1970s. It is much more capable though, but perhaps an external antenna socket would be a good improvement, especially for higher frequencies. Unlike the Gakken system, which could be configured to transmit - this doesn't... A transmitting model would be interesting imho. #TECHMINDS
