Overall, if you can pick up a nice used Twin Coil System, you will be able to turn your RF919 into a Superadio. The RF919 pairs perfectly with it. If the cost is too high, the Terk Advantage Passive Loop directly attached sounds Fantastic as well.

Really like this radio! Gonna have to save up and purchase this one. I have a ATS-25. It works but the receive I don't think is up to par. This seems to be way clearer.

The On board antennas for SW, AIR, WX, FM, and VHF, UHF rocks. I would still use external antennas for MW.

22:40 we got one of those here near St. Louis Mo. as well. Unfortunately it’s on a legacy radio station. WEW 770 was the first radio station in St. Louis. Now, there’s nothing left of it but Bro. Stair. It’s probably better off going off air. Especially since Mr. Stair has been dead for at least two years.

If you wrap a coil of wire around the radio bar antenna and attach the ends to long lengths of wire you will be able to receive MW AW signals in the evening from great distances - 2,500 miles. You need to point the broadside of the antenna towards the stations.

The manual says that the SSB sensitivity is 20uv. It should be 0.2uv. For a radio of this type it needs to have good sensitivity.

Did you try to connect the Twin coil antenna directly to this radio or any other loop antenna. DSP radios usually performs very well when connected to loops.

Hello Todd, betweem this Raddy and the Qodosen, which in your opinion has the best sensitivity and selectivity on MW?

The Qodosen for MW. The RF919 can almost stay with the DX-286 on FM, and of course the 919 has SW SSB, and VHF from 20MHz and up.

Is there a reason to buy either the Raddy RF919 over the Retekess TR113 or vice versa? Is one better than the other?

I like the 919 because it uses removable 18650s, and as the same reception as the TR113. They both can use the same firmware updates.
