Hi there I currently have a 1660 Super, and I just got a 100 FPS monitor but i notice its really having a tough time keeping up with the frames and i have a pcie 4 set up and same processor as in the video would it be a better option for me now ?

Hello doesn't matter if you choose pcie 4.0 cause 1660super its pcie 3.0 Gpu so don't have any impact in performance, 100 fps depend of the game you playing in new games its realy hard to keep 100 fps average with 1660Super, you can upgrade your Gpu into RTX 3060 12gb or 6650XT 8GB if you paly at 1080p

Hello RX 5500xt and gtx1660 its very close as gaming performance ,i will prefer the Rx 5500xt 8Gb cause have more Vram and new games use more and more Vram also the new incoming games will use more !!

​@@jawexy1104 Hello 5500 xt will need pcie 4.0 motherboard and cpu to work as it should or you will lose 10-20% performance of the gpu depend of the game if you use pcie 3.0 setup, if you go for amd you need at least b550 motherboard and ryzen 5 5600 (210$) also if you can find used ryzen 5 3600 will work ok, for intel you need at least b560 motherboard and 11400 cpu and will be good combo close to 220$ also you can go to intel new platform b760 and Intel Core i3-12100/12100f , i prefer the b550 and 5600 combo

@@jawexy1104 this motherboard support only pcie 3.0 if you keep this then you will go for Ryzen 5 5500 the best choice, other way its to go for 5600 and in the future you will upgrade your motherboard to B550 for full support of pcie 4.0..

Hello not the best choice cause your motherboard and cpu not support pcie 4.0 thats mean you will lose performance like -15-20% depend of the game ,i recommend to you to search for Gtx 1650 super or Gtx 1660 will be much better.
