If you incorporate the dust collection in the rear fence it should work better

Thank you for watching and commenting! It would absolutely be more effective, I will likely go this route the next time I am due for a fence replacement on this saw.

That's a good idea for depth adjust on the drill press, I have virtually the same one and it's really pain to do it manually, maybe I'll hook up a motor to mine... Anyway, what kind of camera are you using? All the things I've seen from you look kind of washed out, not saying anything about you, just saying that crisp video with good color goes a long way on those initial snap decisions to keep watching. Okay, I know it's not place to tell you what to do considering I have half the subscribers you do, but.... your thumbnails. They strike as something woodworkers would have thought was cool in the nineties, but not now. Well. Now you probably hate me but maybe you can prove me wrong on this one by hitting seven digits first, and, who knows? Maybe overexposed thumbnails with swirly things and yellow lettering will come back? Listen I'm not saying I'm better at this, I will just say that I've seen whole lot of videos about making videos, I've analyzed a whole lot of thumbnails, and these don't look like winners, I hate to say that, but don't take it the wrong way and please just take this as an impetus to learn. I've said too much, Caleb, the non-expert.

Thank you for watching and commenting! The trailer jack has been such an upgrade for the drill press table. John Heisz built a table lift using the motor from a recliner that looks amazing. No offense taken at all, to answer your questions: 1. I use a Sony ZV-1 for most of my filming but I will also throw in video from a Go Pro and my cell phone when needed. The washed out video is likely due to the color space overrides I use in Premiere Pro to match the video from different sources and different lighting conditions. I am far from a professional video editor so I mainly just use Rec 709 to "even out" my colors and will only really mess with color when there is a large issue, this is usually caused by my shop lighting not being optimized for filming. 2. Thumbnails- You are probably right, but I am going more for legibility over what other woodworking KZbin thumbnails are doing. I will kill myself before I ever do "KZbinr Reaction Face" in a thumbnail 🤣 Don't worry- I don't hate you at all and appreciate that you took the time to offer suggestions. It is appreciated. Bassador Woodworking is strictly a creative outlet for me and a means of creating community; I am not looking to make a living using this channel, I do not sell my projects and barely earn enough from KZbin to purchase sandpaper 🤣. To this end, I have never put much effort into following what other (more successful) channels would consider "best practices". That is not to say that I am not trying to put out the best quality video that I can, and to that end- I will certainly keep your suggestions in mind moving forward!

@@BassadorWoodworking I'm definitely guilty of "KZbinr reaction face" I mean, hey, it works, not that that makes it right but it's not wrong and occasionally it just works, but it always looks dumb.
