I'm sure you know what it's like to go. 270 mph right? Mark Mickie was up there And I'm pretty sure the tire manufacturers told him watch the speeds cuz of tire rating. guys that race 8th Mile. Will tell you 8th Mile is the drag race and the other 8th Mile you're just holding on waiting for something to happen.. The average guy does not understand how hard it is on the equipment to run like that. Why do you think NHRA shortened It to a thousand ft. Do you think every race track has a big shutdown area?..
