I have the dvd box with the first 4 Shinobi movies released by Animeigo. The quality is very good, so I don't feel the need to upgrade this one to blu-ray. This would've been an instant buy if it was all 8 movies with Raizo Ichikawa. Definitely looking forward to the Bounty Hunter trilogy.

Shape of night has been in my periphery for a while, I have some radiance releases and love them, the quality is so good and the thought and care put into the design is fantastic. The plot sounds good and Im a sucker for that type of tragic romance with stuff from wai, pale flower, hiroshima mon amour. The shinobi box set is also cool, I grew up watching Zatoichi films as a teenager so it would be right up my alley.
