I love the paintings. However I did purchase a Materson stay wet pallette t and have been very disapointed and have lost lots of money in paints as the lid did not seal.

my lid doesn't stay on either. I felt like mine was a defect (I have had it for years now). but now I am hearing lots of other people having the same issue. Make sure the sponge on the bottom stays wet. I spray my sponge or paper towels at the end of every session and my paints stay wet even though my lid isn't on tight. I'm thinking of maybe using some plastic wrap to cover.

I keep my sponge wet I keep it plastic wrap over it and I put my paint box on top of it to keep the lid down flat because it pops up I've had mine for years I thought I got warped in the garage heat because we moved and I couldn't find it for years

I wish I could use acrylic but I am allergic to it

I thought you could paint oil over acrylic but not acrylic over oil?? Or am I misunderstanding what you're saying?
