It’s not my husband, it’s me😢. I appreciate all of your messages. I am a God fearing woman and I have a short fuse, but I have the Holy Spirit. He speaks to me and He humbles me and He sends me back to him and tells me when to open up and calmly discuss where the offense rose up from and My Dather constantly comes to my rescue because I Love my husband and I know that He Loves Me. Your messages Bless me. Thank you

I’ve been nailed OUT of the house, with my 8 year old son!! That man has since met the Lord. He had to explain himself😊

Yep...I get all of that: criticism, shame, anger, attacks, rejection, ignored

My husband is that bomb....he is also passive aggressive and likes to stonewall and gaslight

I can't tell my husband ANYTHING that he does wrong....he takes offense immediately and wears the anger all day...I walk on eggshells and wonder if we are going to be normal the next day.

Same thing here. He just told me he's moving everything out of my room that's we turned into a closet and start sleeping in there. You'll move out eventually. Yay fun times

@@jaredshowers1 It's not so much THE apology...it is the repeated hateful acts without any remorse....no apology given unless what was wrong is pointed out...I apologize ALL the time...and yet I'm accused of never apologizing. When I try to address issues we have he deflects...points fingers...blames....changes the subject...I remember when. He wants to PRETEND like everything is ok...sweep everything under the rug... He is also domineering. "I'm the man" "I wear the pants." "You need to OBEY me." I'm still here. Hanging on to Jesus.

I appreciate so much your teaching . It would be nice to know explanation Matthew 5:22 . It is mean literally or figurative ? All over in the Bible advice is be slow to anger but this verse says not be at all.

From reading the kjv, niv, nlt, nklt, and esv translations. My interpretation is that you need to be careful of being angry because every way you treat someone you are now open to that same treatment, whether socially or literally to court. Being angry at someone for something isn't necessarily a sin but this verse is saying to be careful of getting angry and how if you lash out in anger, how it now opens you up to that same treatment, but if you are angry and act in grace and forgiveness, now you are covered in that same scenario because you reap what you sow.

This is all well and good...but what do I do if my spouse REFUSES to work on this or talk to me about it. He blames EVERYTHING on me and refuses to own up to his faults. He is angry ....a lot...and when I ask him what is wrong he won't own up to it...he lets it all build up and then it all bursts out...we never resolve conflict...it all gets swept under the rug until it bubbles up again.
