I love Montana! Moved to Missouri 6 weeks ago and miss my beloved Montana, my family lives near here but rairly see them except for my granddaughter. I love that part but that’s it I’ll move back first chance I get!

When I visited my grandmother as a boy I used to meet a cousin of mine halfway between our houses. At that time the Conrad mansion was not cared for and was overgrown with vegetation. The daughter was still alive and it was dark and scary and, we were sure, it was haunted. You know how dark those streets are. I love these vlogs. Thank you.

@@RadiantRealty : Once my son gets working. Everything got screwed up with exiting military and going into flight training to get his commercial licenses back up. Or, if he marries his "domestic partner"... who is a long time flight attendant. (All of us want him to marry that wonderful lady! )Not sure if free USA. Abroad, for them, is a miniscule amt. Great recommendations! Got to town today and tried DeSoto. No doubt your recommendation on the stuffed baked potato was taken to heart by your following because they were sold out. BUT, the nacho recommendation was fantastic. Had a huge amount of leftovers. That place is awesome. Then hit Lone Pine Park for a great hike. Really nice folks out on the trails. Great scenery. Knocking it out of the park on the advice. Now, for tomorrow....

@@RadiantRealty Sooooo, I actually spent a little time by the town lake in Whitefish to work on some writing. You were right, the picnic tables have an awesome view and the setting was so peaceful BUT downtown is a tad full with tourists just now. Long story short, I decided on skipping meal time till I got to Bigfork. Now, that is such a nice, cozy town! Could move there tomorrow. Please do an eat, sleep, play, whatever for Bigfork. I loooooved IT! :) Keep up the great work sharing the awesome little piece of God's creation called Flathead Valley!

Enjoyed the video. Great information. As I'm planning to be there in a few weeks, I'm hoping you could point me in the right direction as far as biking goes. I'm just there for a few days so I'm wondering if there is a good option to do a day rental. I like the sound of the trail described in the video. Brings lots together, weather permitting. Wheaton's unfortunately doesn't have rentals this year due to Covid, but Sportsman Ski Haus in Northern Kalispell and in Whitefish normally do rentals. You could also check out Glacier Cyclery in Whitefish and I believe they rent them in Apgar Village in Glacier National Park as well. Plenty of options depending on which trails you plan to ride. Yeah, the workers at Wheaton's have incredible trail knowledge of the area. Def stop in and talk to them if you can.

@@raybon7939 we do have some sunny days in fall and Winter. Usually the sunny winter days are colder ironically. The clouds kind of keep more warmth in the valley. Also, if you ski you can often enjoy an inversion on the mountaintop where it's sunny up there but you're above the clouds and gray of the valley.

I was born and raised in SoCal but my wife is from Virginia. She moved out to California when she was about 25 and has now live in CA longer than she has lived in Virginia and that’s all I’m saying about her age😂. I’m looking forward to the smaller town life instead of this wall to wall people. I’m looking forward to the cold and snow. I know...it definitely get cold in MT, but just because I’m from CA doesn’t mean I can’t handle the cold. I’m still wearing shorts and a t-shirt when it’s 55 degrees down here and people think I’m crazy. We both love the outdoors and Kalispell and Whitefish seem like the perfect place for that. Thanks for the reply. It’s not very often that I get a reply from a KZbinr. Looking forward to your next video to learn more about your town. How is the housing? We would want something semi secluded but not to far from town but something with an acre or two of land with trees, a stream or lake nearby. Any suggestions on where to start looking?
