Radicals are great 🇺🇲made rifles, I have north of 2,500 rounds through mine with zero issues. "knock on wood". Great rifle, have fun, and stay safe.
@criticalhitz481Күн бұрын
I bought my Radical about 2-3 months back and it is one of if not the best purchase I've ever made! I've always used a bolt action rifle, for deer hunting, Remington model 700 .270cal w/ wood stock and a bolt-action Winchester model 70, 7mm magnum! The 7mag is a synthetic stock, and has a 22in barrel w/ a 4in muzzle break! It's extremely loud as all high-powered rifles are, but w/out ear protection in, it would hurt your ears soo bad to where shooting it 2 times, back to back, was about all anyone would take.. The muzzle break is why it was that loud, but it was to reduce recoil and make it even more accurate w/ extremely tight groups.. At 300yds or more it still has plenty of knockdown power and is a very flat bullet to travel before it started to drop.. All that said, I have been having a blast w/ my RA 15, and the ammo is decent price also! Thanx for the vid and I was thinking about a Radiant Charging Handle to be the 1st upgrade and wanted to ask what your opinion would be??

That one point sling will turn your gun into a Luisville Slugger and it will treat your balls as balls. I suggest a 2 point quick adjust sling .
@TheAverageFather5 ай бұрын
You know, that may finally be the comment that convinces me to switch lol
@TheTDawson14 ай бұрын
The problem with 2 point is people putting the second point too far forward. It can get in the way of mag reloads. Also, the closer the points are the easier it will be to get it out the way if you need.

I hate how people who aren’t in the military or are private contractors repeat wht others say. There are many who run single point slings and many who run 2 point slings. Its all on the shooter.
@quickdraw19212 ай бұрын
@@5.56Gawd2 point sling has the perfect slant imo. When I was using 1 point slings the rifle would either slap against my leg or my nuts. Also when carrying out operations and having to navigate obstacles the rifle would swing and hit the walls or basically anything in the way. TLDR I have real world experience and 2points make sense.

Would use the zip ties around the whole hand guard or smaller zip ties around the mlok openings. For the charging handle, ambi are great - for the emergency option of your down to a single arm or to use an object to help charge your rifle. You ALWAYS want to keep your dominant hand on the grip/trigger guard in case you needed to engage. Last observation, when able try out / think about a 2 pt sling. Reason, if you needed to pick something/someone up and you let your rifle hang, you’re going to rack yourself or beat the hell out the person/thing you’re trying to drag clear. Or bang the crap out the rifle / yourself if climbing/moving over objects. But hey man, welcome to AR world and enjoy!

When you said you can’t move the magnifier back did you mean up? Why not move up the scopes on the Picrail? Genuinely concerned for the pieces to add
@ReticentIndignation5 ай бұрын
If you find yourself moving the stock too much, move the magnifier forward. You have a few pic slots to do so. If worse comes to worst move the red dot forward and re-zero. Looks like yours is as far as I'd go with it though, perhaps a different red dot mount to give it a bit more forward bias so that the magnifier can move closer to it. This will allow you to position the stock in the perfect position for you. It can be cumbersome doing this, especially after thinking you have it just right, but it is what it is. If you want triggers, Geissele having a Blem sale for 4th of July through the 9th. Got me some SSA-E X lightning bow triggers for "cheap." The SSA-E is only 122$!

Not to sound dumb ,But whats the difference between a AR 15 and a Rf 15?
@criticalhitz481Күн бұрын
AR stands for ArmaLite Rifle! The original designer of the gun, and Company name! RF stands for Radical Firearms! The company name of what he has in the video.. ArmaLite Rifle company (AR) just kind of stuck as the name or base platform of these firearms! Radical Firearms are more, "budget friendly," or affordable also with a very standard, reliable build! Taking care of it, like anything else, it will perform very nicely and smooth! I have a Radical I purchased about 2-3months ago and love it! I put a UTG Red/Green T-dot scope/optic with only 1x magnifier to have for more faster/quicker way to find your targets, from an average of 20yds up to 100yds! But I've been nailing targets at 300yds lol!! Some people shoot targets 500yrds w/ these rifles, but have a better zoom/magnifier optic scope to see the target..

@@davvila2244 that's awesome my friend! You'll enjoy it very much! Juust oil it up really good.. I found some vids on here on how and where to apply it.. You may already know how, but if not, make sure you get it oiled nicely before you fire any shots! I think I shot somewhere in-between 60-80 shots with mine before I did any rapid fire though lol.. Breaking-in or Seasoning the barrel w/ whatever brand and grain ammo you decide to go with is good when first firing! It will eventually tighten up your shots and be more precise after sighting in your optic that you put on it. I fire 62-grain X-Tac ammo mostly, but deer hunt with 75grain Hornady Black ammo.. The Black is about twice the cost as the X-Tac, w/ Black traveling 2310fps and the X-Tac traveling 2920fps.. So dial your optic in w/ the ammo and grain you decide on! And get some ear protection! You'll be able to shoot all day w/ it! The cheap foam disposable ones work too! Let us know how it all goes after you shoot it!! Be safe and you'll have a blast w/ it!

Check the staking on the castle nut and I would upgrade the bcg with a good quality one. Newer AR owners do not understand you get what you pay for on a lot of them. Mainly in barrels, bcg, and materials. Yes a shoot every once in a while rifle will work at $300. Take it to a two day class and shoot 1000k rounds and the gremlins will show themselves
@taborishouston66383 ай бұрын
First question...HONESTLY what's the average price of your favorite Ar-15 rifle(S)? 2nd compare that price to the purchase of this rifle with the upgrades to meet the STOCK specs of your favorite rifle. 3rd tell me who's the right or wrong one in the scenario? No one but I'm 1000% sure the person that put the energy and effort to build a dependable rifle that fits them and their character comes out on top, and more than likely they saved some $$$ at the same time. Enjoy purchasing your over expensive lazy man rifle. As for me I admire this gentleman,his video and his effort. I look forward to learning from anyone that has the courage to build/customize their own rifle and video the lessons they've learned along the way.
