The Duaflex has a red viewing window on back of the lid to read the number on the backing paper of the film to see how the film has been advanced, so you don't have to guess how far you have spooled.

I appreciate you cleaning your cameras before doing this! What method do you use

Agree about the Mamiya 7. It’s an amazing camera for landscape and street work. It falls short for portraits for me. My Pentax takes the cake for me for portraits. But the rz is so versatile. Especially with that Han instax back!!

I have the CONTAX N1 and 8 out of the 9 lenses for the system. It is a handsome camera. It's too bad that there are no adapters to put Zeiss C/Y lenses on the N system. Oh......and one luv from Japan!!!

What about some conceptual/abstract project with the Duaflex and some Cinestill, or maybe something like Lomo Purple as 35 mm with sprockets...Just thinking out loud. Could be fun little project!

You sound surprised about your T5, but my T4 is still going after non stop shooting since the 80s when I bought it .... super reliable.

Great video! Was after a Yashica T5 a few years ago but the price put me off and I've been using an Olympus XA2. T5's look to be about £400-500 at the moment, out of interest how much did you get yours for?
@radicaleyemag2 жыл бұрын
I paid around £200 for it, but yeah prices are up big time unfortunately

Hey, mate. Lovely collection. What would you say is your favorite lens for the RZ67? I’ve got one paired with the 110 and I don’t find myself wanting. Still curious to hear how the other lenses in the lineup stack against it.
@radicaleyemag2 жыл бұрын
the 110 is my favourite for sure, much more flexibility also

Lovely collection. Your work inspired me to pick up an RZ & 110 when I saw a good deal, still a lot to learn but its a treasure to hold and use. Do you have a digital collection to share too?

I have a 5D which I no longer use much at all, and black magic for filming these videos :)

I’d give the Mamiya 6 a miss if rangefinders aren’t your thing. If you like square, have you tried a Hasselblad? Similar shooting experience to the Mamiya RZ67, but smaller and lighter.

have been thinking this... it's just a very nice looking camera!

Every time i hear "this is the camera I take when I don't want to think" in an analog camera review I think what a shitty photographer you might be to say that...all these hipsters passing as professional photographers on KZbin. My point is once you understand the basics of photography you don't need to be afraid for having some extra drinks and taking pictures with an exakta at 3 am in poorly lit pub, all photos come out good and you are fast enough, point and shoots were always a thing for aficionados but you can not remember that since you were not born yet.
