Great promo. I travelled regularly to Miami on the coast in the 70's until 1989 and cannot recall the station - only 4GG which also advertised on the Brisbane commercials. Did the 1 minute advery ever appear on NRTV? I would say yes at some point especially as the station was owned by Northern Star Holdings which at one point owned both stations. 4IP (late Radio/Stereo 10) had a big presence on the GC in the 80's. (billboard early 80's at the Surfers Waterslides). I recall winning a 4IP frisby around '82 on the beach at Miami.

I worked at this station on 3 separate occasions...1974-76, 1977-79, 1984-85. It had/still has a patchy history. Probably sounded at its best around 1967-68 and a bit of a renaissance in 1985-6. Dreadful now...really should be required to hand in its broadcast licence.

Very interesting! Does anyone know who the owners were of the station back then??

It was owned by various local businesses in the Murwillumbah area at the time. It was then bought out by Northern Star Holdings based in Lismore, and is now owned by The Super Radio Network with most shows relayed from 2SM.
