In today’s Herald there is yet another article about perceived bias, this time in the Police who themselves are multi cultural. So what gives? It is too easy to keep identifying an issue. The hard part is to fix it. In reality the Treaty of Waitangi has zero relevance to me, I have my culture(my parents came here in the 1960’s) and others have theirs. Each should respect the other equally but interracial rhetoric is just building on itself and will not end well. Well done to the Platform for giving people a voice and let’s hope this development benefits broader discussion outside of the mistrust currently evident towards other mainstream media.

Maori must be an important part on NZ Inc, we've long lived together mostly very well, but respect needs to be more consistent and mutual. This is not to say that the seperatism, undemocratic special "rights", and blatant lies are acceptable - they are not.

I'm not convinced. Smells of financial difficulties looking for more security. From an editorial point of view my prediction is that it will be lovey-dovey for the first few months, then there will be some bust-up over an issue and it will all end in tears.
